I am going to erase my char! you hunt for a few hours for ki's to pop chloris for monk weapon trial to get buds...and you get doomed use about 5+ holy waters but does'nt come off and die!!! Then before you get a chance to get nm back someone steals your NM wtf! SE Now we have to hunt ki's again...i guess you think people have no life! I"M QUITING and to be sure i do i'm going to erase my char...can't believe i pay to play a game like this!

Would you believe that once upon a time, you would have about 30+ people fighting to get claim for a Monster Signa? It's the nature of the beast. I don't want to sound like a dick, but you got claim, you died and someone else took over. Oh well. It has been this way for a decade. If THAT is a good enough reason for you to quit playing, then it's probably best that you do and go back to playing single player RPG's.

You could do what the rest of us do; get pissed, log off and try again later when you calm down and realize that you just yelled at fiction and laugh about it.

I almost envy you if that was the worst thing that ever happened to you. Wiping due to doom can so easily be prevented by simply having a second DD standing ready for when the first one croaks. Some fights are simply not meant to be done solo/duo. It leads up to one of the best weapons in the game after all, I don't think asking to do it with two other people is such a bad thing.

Having said that, I do agree that the curing rate on Holy Waters or Cursna is surprisingly low, and I don't really see the point in it. Maybe just increase it to 50%?

This is not my first time fighting Chloris i have won several times and died before and i was duoing with a whm who was casting cursna while i was using holy water, this is not a time pop where you can go AFK and come back at TOD i am not a new person to the game been playing for 6+ years. What i'm saying is if you farm hours for KI's fight an NM and you can't take doom off AT ALL!! and you have to get 50 drops from this NM? You don't HAVE to. You can, if you want, not get the weapon and never have to fight Chloris. That's what I did. I know 2 other Monks who complained about the time it took to farm Chloris pops for their Verethragnas, but I just kinda shrugged and said "No thanks, not worth my time if I don't think it's fun."

Unless WHM also got hit with doom then I'm not sure how they died to it. WHM is pretty much invincible in Abyssea and can hold it with no issues bar it using Fatal Scream again really quickly. It hits for pitiful damage with a decent PDT set which WHM should be idling in anyway.

I'd rather deal with someone who knows how to properly type in English and is a new person from the abyssea era, then whatever you're trying to say you are. This sentence looks like it should be 2, maybe 3, and doesn't make any sense.

Before you go attacking wish12oz with that statement.... IF you really wanna be taken seriously as a player and a person, you should speak correctly in an appropriate manner with correct grammar and ALSO by using correct grammar and language, it makes it easier for US to actually understand what you're trying to say instead of trying to MAKE out what you're saying!!

My grammar isn't the best but it's doable and I always try and make sure that my post are eligible for others to understand the point i'm making or the issue i'm experiencing!

Well, about doom. It's pretty lame when 8 holy waters and 5 cursna's fail to remove en-doom effect from the tank after fighting azdaja. So yea, I think holy water and curnsa's removal status should be cumulative, in that the removal rate increases with each successive use. Randomness is just junk, it leads to the 8-10 cursna bs. I don't think it should ever take 8 holy waters and five cursna's and the tank still dies from doom.

Terrible spelling and punctuation makes you look stupid and makes it hard to be understood. It's the written equivalent to speaking with your mouth full. Where it crosses into "being a grammar Nazi" is when someone uses the minutae of grammar to make corrections to things that are already clear. Like if you said "Riding around on that roller coaster made me nauseous." and I pointed out that the correct term is "nauseated", because "nauseous" refers to "inducing nausea". I'd be making a correction to something that is already correct for no reason.

If you see two people arguing about something, and one types well, and the other types like an 8 year old and you're not sure what they're even saying, who are you going to side with?

EDIT: Especially when you spell poorly, Firefox has a spellchecker built in! It gives you a red line under misspelled words, and then it even tells you how to correctly spell them when you right click on them. It's just pure laziness when someone doesn't even bother to proof read or spell check, and if you can't take the time to make sure your thoughts are written in a clear manner, why would anyone take what you're trying to say seriously? .....and don't even get me started on people who don't use Firefox!

Chrome is amazing, it gives google the ability to target those google adds at you better so they show you products you're more likely to buy. And don't even try and act like chrome doesn't monitor EVERYTHING you look up on the internet and send that information back to google. Meanwhile adblock on my Firefox removes them entirely~

^This, same reason I decided not to do my vere, helped a friend with hers, it doesn't feel worth the time especially if you can't get 8 other people to hold KIs for you lol I still say the h2h trial is backwards, tons of KIs on first nm and no ws, 2 KI on 2nd nm for ws, 1 KI on 90 o.O
