Since it seems everyone Hates the Voidwatch Drop System, and though the Idea of the Legion Battle is great, they are unsure as to the drop system (More you kill better items you get) and the individual points you get items (Prob more like Odin battle zone items with Icor) Why not Simply make it Kill for kill random reward system?

The more you do in a single fight as well as the whole event you randomly can obtain rewards Auto dropped to you. So Kill 3 HNM's You have a chance to get an item Directly into your inventory much like a Temp item is in Abyssea, But not a temp item rare rare/ex or even Ex to use. Gear and acc. and Weapons alike None of the BULL-Crap NPC Sellable crafting items. Make it Overly hard to Win zone but easy to still feel like you got something worth your time and effort.

Well this is all I have to say, So Like or Hate, Suggest or Troll :cool:

Hmmm, actually it's sort of a combination between Einherjar (Ampuoles / Legion Points) and the Walk of Echos (Drops based on Participation / kills). It could be the best of both worlds. Should be some shared, some exclusive items to each reward type and that should be enough to keep people interested for a long time. As long as there are plenty of good to great items available via Legion points, and great to outstanding items via drops (would even include upgrade items in the drop / points pool, So that those who are looking for the upgrade items have another way to obtain them.) and we could have ourselves a winner.

Manicora the problem with what you're suggesting is that you are always going to have a group who a) Does an awesome job kills HNMs and what not and is unfortunate and doesn't get what they want. or b) Does a mediocre job and gets everything they want. If they handle the kill drops in a treasure pool like Dynamis, then that's good with me. Like I said above, with the Points / Performance system, everyone has a chance to get something they want and a goal to work towards.

Big time issue with "performance" based drops is that it always favors certain jobs over others. It usually results in resentment between the healers (lowest ranked points yet vital for victory) and the melee's (highest ranked points, are replaceable). No way to balance it out so that one group isn't getting screwed (healers, support casters, melees, tanks, nukers). Best to leave it out completely and just have the drops go into a treasure pool for LS distribution. And of course the legion points that are awarded can be spent on *hopefully* decent rewards.
