I notice you have this option when entering CoP Dynamis. I never use it. Does anybody? Is there any reason TO use it?

Yeah the new reason behind it is to be able to get white !! triggers, this allows for 100's to drop from the trigged mob.
However this does not mean with no sub you are going to hit white instead of red/yellow/blue (the colour depends on the te you get) it just adds something like a 1-3% chance of you hitting it, I have gone in to dunes on dnc with my LS got all te's and proc nothing but red, granted I only went in once so I cannot give any experience related information on white trig, only pass on the info I got from other web sites like BG wiki.

So 100 piece currencies will only drop if you enter CoP Dynamis with subjobs blocked and you get white triggers?

From normal mobs, yes.

Having support jobs blocked allows you to get white procs in dreamlands dynamis

Yes white !! will allow 100s to drop for any more you got the !! on rather then just NMs.

Is it easier to get white if more people go with subjob locked?

No, but with 2 dnc's without SJ, you can spam JA's faster, potentially getting through mobs faster.

Other jobs can do it too, but DNC has an advantage since it can sneak, invis and cure without subjob, has high evasion, while spamming the easiest procs (JA).
PUP/--- would need sneak/invis potions to solo, but can proc on any mob with the right setup. (Stormwaker has Strobe/Flashbulb/Disruptor for JA procs, as well as magic and WS, and can buff Protect V, Shell V, Phalanx, Stoneskin, Cure IV.)
Been playing around with PUP/DNC setup, although I still need to find some good farming spots for relevant zones.

How often can a pup actually trigger any possible procs?

Pretty often, actually. JA procs almost always work, MA and WS have somewhat less chance of proccing because not all spells are offensive (cures, buffs) or the mob dies too fast. The new maton AI is a real monster if you don't forget to feed it MP :D
So find a spot with lots of THFS, MNKs, BSTs, etc, and you can get procs almost every mob. (Hundred Fists isn't a problem against buffed PUP, if procs don't strip it's 2hr before.)

PUP only has only one ability that targets an enemy, ventriloquy, which I thought was a requirement to proc. Are you saying that self-targeted abilities can proc too? (Subs can contribute more abilties, I know, but anybody can do that)

Automaton abilities will proc too. You can fit Strobe, Flash and Disruptor on Stormwaker/Soulsoother, although I think Disruptor only procs when the mob has dispellable buffs. DNC will proc faster, since it's human controlled and not busy with casting, but I don't think there's any job other then PUP that can cover all procs and still maintain a constant flow of mobs.
