Hi! i just bought A shantotto Add-on today, and im gonna beat it asap! but i dont know wich augments i should put on my seultor pants, of course ill take movement speed 8% but what should i pick for second augment? i dont think i can pet tank petter with those pants than my AF3 +2 pants so.... any advices please? thank you :)
Honestly, I would look at the other jobs on the pants and use that as your consideration - as a BST this is a convenience piece - not something you'd want to wear full time during a tough battle - like if you have interest in PUP, the "Repair potency +10%" might be a great augment - if you were a blu the magic burst damage might be nice for self skillchains (that's a stretch but just imagining possibilities here)
Cure potency actually would be nice for a healer blu and /whm /rdm /sch
I would stick to making them really niche cause honestly in terms of something to wear in TP phase there isn't really much if anything that can make this worth it (Aurore has +3% haste and +9 accuracy, so if you really didn't want to wear pink pants if you put haste on these you could probably get away with wearing these instead as long as your weapon skill isn't gimp and you have nothing better... but still, might as well go niche so when you level something else they are useful for more than just running in)
For a bst there isn't much else to be done
These are something to macro in for a specific purpose, imo, so a second augment should try to make use of that

Well, you're better off finding two other people and doing Salvage for Skadi boots if you want movement speed. 12% makes a big difference over 8% from the tassets.
As for augments: MAB +4% came in handy for mine (and is probably still very nice) for Primal Rend and Cloudsplitter. Apart from that it's only the reduced sic and ready timer that is really going to be useful as a macro piece. You should pretty much be full timing your AF3+1 (or +2) pants (which are stupidly easy to get) for anything else but weaponskills.

If you want to use the legs for pet-only setup (and don´t need/want the "Stout Servant" on Af3 legs for a given fight), certainly pet attack+7 is the way to go. Or pet acc+7, depending on the rest of your pet-only setup and how much of either stat it allready has.
