So I am trying to do the limit break (I moved to Bahamut but so my info my be out of date, which also means no ls yet) and I havent been able to find a lb pt that will take me without a tail. Its always no tail no party. I have the fang and the stone but I have yet to find the bone.
I have spent hrs and hrs and hrs farming worms and tigers in Kuftal, bats and eyes in R.Pass, crabs and worms in Boyahda, and skeles and bats in the Canal and havent been able to get the drop. The mobs I am fighting are the ones listed on wiki and check at least dc to my 95 jobs. I have gotten multiple seasoning stones but havent seen the bone.
Is there something Im missing or just suffering from poor drop rates?

My guess would be that it's just rotten luck.. and low drop rates. Our first initial farming, we spent 6 hours trying to get one for each of us in our group (3 into total) and then beat the quest, when back to farm again and got 2 in 2 hours ish. Trust SE to never make things easy.

Well I have spend a few hrs in each of the locations listed above and have yet to see one. Im trying oh so hard to be patient since ive farmed items alot longer before the aby nerf of the game but my patience is wearing thin on this.
Also any Bahamut ls looking for ppls? The server is so quiet for the sheer amount of ppl on it

Very good idea to invest in a Thief.
If you haven't.

Full moon on the 13th day of the 7th month during the 11th hour and it will drop.....
Seriously.... it's just rotten luck. When we've gone after them in Rang. Pass it always seems to drop off the eye the most....most times it was ONLY off the eye. Not sure what the drop rates have tracked as, but for us at least, that seems to have the better rate in Rang. Pass. In Kuftal, it was the tigers that had the better rates.
THF friend should make it easier. Really bone is a pain to get. :< The Boyahda Tree and Ranguemont Pass will drop the bone, it just takes a long time...

There is a ls, Hiddentigers, mostly social, but there are quite a few of helpful folks there. Most have done the lb fight and are willing to help, including some ppl who did it without the tail.

Did most of my farming for myself and friends (TH7) in Toraimarai Canal (map 2, F-9). Usually got drops in 10-15min max.

2 bones dropped before any seasoning stone for me in Boyhada. The trick is to not want them.

I actually gave up trying to find the bone and just did the fight until I won.

I havent been able to find a lb pt that will take me without a tail. Its always no tail no party.Really? Everyone I know did it without a tail. It makes the fight way easier, but the fight is perfectly winnable without it and it takes considerable extra time to go get the extra items. Just learn how to win without it and start your own party. Get some level 99s to help you.
