Started better than some other MMOs you could mention at least, all MMOs struggle these days. It's almost impossible to compete with older titles that have so much content. For FFXI players that always say they like story content I guess the new star wars game might appeal though, it's probably the most story driven MMO there is from what I've read.

I decided to wait before trying it though, FFXIV scared me off jumping into new mmos for a while.

I'm not a star wars fan, not even in to sci-fi that much so I really didn't think I would like this game at all. But I love SWTOR so far, only level 31 though because I love the storyline so taking my time. Even when I cap out that character, the storyline is so fun I can't wait to do a few alts.
