My dear sweet Tanaka, thank you for making all of the full perle bsts/sams pink mnks/nins cry in agony over "hard" stuff. Dev team is doing a wonderful job, keep it up! I am enjoying this game now more than ever. So much stuff to do, there isn't enough hours in the day to do it all.

Morier, I agree with you. I am loving the game so far. Voidwatch is great and the drop rate is fine for most of the items in my opinion. People should not expect the best gear in the game every time they do a run.

My only concern is that WoE is flawed. Perhaps they should have added NPCs to join the fight when there are no people there or maybe the re-entry time should be eliminated because the place is dead whenever I check it.

I have not enjoyed an aspect of the game as much as I enjoyed the limit break fight in a long time. It was wonderful. I have no idea why people are being so negative about the changes. We have not even seen what SE has in store yet. There are a lot of changes that are going to be added that will make the current stuff outdated. We still have about a year worth of really big and wonderful changes, and I am blown away that people are not patient enough to wait for it.

Sarcasmn aside.

I cant tell if the original post is serious or not, cause all it takes is 3~4 pink monks/nin to beat the limit break. 5 beasts in full perle as well. So I got really confused....

As for drop rate in voidwatch, perhaps you should go look at ANY other mmo. If you kill a raid mob it always drops 1+ actual items, spells, crafting components used to make raid quality crafted armor.

Now look at void watch, for every kill you get maybe a silver mirror, some steel plates, and 1/6 kills 1 person will get a single item.Voidwatch is the only raid system in any game i have ever played where you can litterally kill a raid mob with 18 people and get 0 loot 6 times in a row.

And no, no one is counting logs as loot unless they start adding raid drop logs to make super awesome arrows/bolts.

People said the same about ff14 and look how that laughing stock turned out, oh it'll get better..have faith (have you seen the player numbers on that? lol). If they are giving us garbage now there is a pretty good chance we will be getting gabage tomorow too.

Not trolling. People use that word way too much. Tired of seeing 10 million Q_Q threads. I am happy with the changes and yes by the way I leveled woodworking so I'm loving the logs. $$$ Sure this game isn't perfect, but I have tried other MMOS and none compare to this.

I am very pleased in the direction.

Trolling unintentionally is one of the highest, most respected forms of trolling. I give you a 10 sir. Good job!

Thats when Tanaka was running the xiv show. now they gave him xi and boom its going to pot and xiv is improving under Yoshi P's influence and v2 looks promising.

How that man still has a job at SE I have no idea

How that man still has a job at SE I have no idea

He probably has a contract, which means he'll receive an obscene amount of money, if SE terminates it. That's one of the perks of being an executive.

Not really, things don't work that way out here.

Labor laws make it so you can't fire someone unless they pretty much break the law. Once their a salaried employee it's ridiculously hard to get rid of them for any reason. So what you do is assign them to inventory and maintain "file 13" and provide weekly reports on that status of said files. Desk warming is such a boring job with absolutely no chance at improvement and no real responsibility that they will retire as soon as their eligible.

OP posted thread hating on Tanaka whilst saying nothing meaningful at all and it was deleted, so now he's being sarcastically nice in the hopes that the same thing won't happen.

Just stop it. You act as if Tanaka is the sole reason why the game has any defects at all. There's a lot more to it than that.

You need to get your head out of your backside and realize I did not begin that whining Tanaka thread. i made this in response to that cry fest. This isn't a troll thread I am happy with the game and the way it is headed. It amazes me, if someone says something positive it is written off as a troll. No idea where you got that I began that other thread. You sir are being idiotic and are obviously extremely confused.

The amount of stupid and wrong in the first sentence of your post is amazing.

For people who really didnt do any events pre-abyssea, I can see how there is still a lot to do. For those of us that have kept up and done events as the came out, there really isnt much left nor are they adding much.

They're revamping pretty much all of ToAU in the next three months and adding two whole new endgame events; ones you don't need to buy a fucking expansion for and wait eight months to even step foot in, before someone chimes in with "FFXI needs a new expansion so we can have a dozen more zones we'll never use" and proceeds to complain at Voidwatch reusing zones people could be forgiven for never hearing of.

I guess revamped content doesn't count though, absolutely no one does Dynamis anymore, Walk of Echoes is a more active event. Nyzul Isle, Salvage, Limbus and Einherjar were all really crap events too, I much more enjoyed sacrificing 3 hours of my day to Dynamis twice a week. Tanaka is going to have a really hard time making these events ever enjoyable.

Sarcasm aside, I have to ask: Did I imagine the whole road map thing they posted? I mean, I can link you right to it and I've seen Nyzul gear +5 in the dats so I'm leaning towards "Everyone who's complaining at a lack of content is ignorant as hell", but I can't dismiss the possibility that I've imagined all that. Maybe I also imagined Wings of the Goddess where we didn't get any endgame events for well over six months, that would explain why the idea of getting more than five events in three months is so damned disappointing to everyone. Then there's the possibility that I missed Tanaka revealing himself to be a wizard, which certainly would explain why people seem to think he should be able to pull events out is rear on demand rather than actually having to go through the fairly dull and human process of designing the damn things over the course of several months.

Granted, if you hated literally all the Lv.75 content that they're now revamping and aren't happy to see it return, you have a right to complain. Just don't say they're not adding much, they are, you just hate what they're adding.
Here's a quick tip for you if that's the case: Quit. It's a damn game, not Narnia.

I liked those events. like 5 years ago. And I got bored with them (save for salvage). Why cant we get something *new*.

Right, we do have "dungeon crawl" (not even given a name yet) and Last Stand but have NO info on them. Granted, they could give info and have them be awesome as hell, but till then, not excited for it.

I laugh when people say ff14 is getting better etc lol. Took them 12 month to develop an embryon of aution house, player search. Keyboard still not full customable last I loged in ( in september), full screen still crashing on alt tab... Just saying.

You really have no business doing top tier voidwatch without good gear. Its not even hard to get gear these days so stop being lazy.

I apologize then, if it wasn't you, but your post had the same air about it and since it was so soon after the last Tanaka thread was deleted, I figured it was by the same person, trying to flame tanaka in a way that wouldn't result in thread deletage.

Edit: Just in case anyone is wondering, I'm not personally happy about the decisions being made with the game right now. HOWEVER, flaming and making personal attacks at Tanaka or any specific member of the dev team is not going to accomplish what anyone wants.
