I guess this needs to be repeated.

This RMT nerf tactic has done nothing but inconvenience your playerbase as I'm sure RMT simply bypassed it with /trade. Maybe it inconvenienced them too but nowhere near as much as legitimate players who don't have a hundred accounts to trade gil around. This is probably the only move you've made to counter RMT that's 100% useless unless you count it being extremely useful for punishing any player for having invested their time into making gil and taking advantage of extra characters to sell product(or won the MB on a mule and chose gil) I feel like this move was solely for the purpose of trying to annoy RMT out of the game, which is fine until it annoys your legitimate paying customers, too. Same can be said for a lot of the counter measures SE has done but all of the others seem to have a real purpose behind them. This one here seems like more revenge than counter measure.

I'm not asking you to change the course of our development, just lift the damn restriction! No one will know. We won't tell.

Yes, I shamelessly stole that line from Jack O'neill of Stargate SG1. Just tell me it's not about revenge and there's actually a very good reason it's in place but you can't get into it. Lie if you have to. That's all I need. Or actually remove the restriction because you can afford to in which case I cannot fathom anyone not appreciating the hell out of it. Either way thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Or just lift the restriction for characters on the same PlayOnline account.

I concur with both of these suggestions.

What if you have characters that aren't on the same POL account?

Are gil sellers really that much of an issue these days? I don't think so myself so I'd have to agree with you all on this one. Not that it affects me on a personal level but it seems a bit of a redundant restriction. Although, I guess it might help if someone did access your account. At least they'd be frustrated as you as they tried to dbox all your gil away?

Wouldn't stop them. All they have to do is put up some obscure item on the AH and have your character buy it for 50 million gil. Or buy an item out of a mule's bazaar for 50 million gil. Or just direct trade it.

The removal of the restriction that is limiting the delivery of Gil to more than one person at a time would be nice, too.

Gil sellers are still an issue. About 2 weeks ago I saw an ally of nongeared tarutaru with all close to the same name Fell Cleaving in Abyssea-Misseraux. They just found legit ways to make the gil buy selling cruor items. And before anyone asks or comments no this wasn't your average shouting pickup FC pt that people pay 100K an hour for.

You can trade direct to that account in that case, something that is not possible with "mule" on same account, you limited 1m per log off/log in. Or need trust someone damn good to trade him say: 144m to transfer on your mule.

RMT will be on the rise again with free trial accounts, even with the restricitons placed on them they'll find a way. This limit is in place for a reason.
