lets get down what effects the new WS's have here
I'll Start with Shattersoul: Delivers a threefold attack that lowers targets magic defence. Duration of effect varies with TP.
can anyone else who has a new WS post the same type of info here please.

I believe the effect on shattersoul is -10%

Except for the WS modifiers, which they listed as "20-100%" - which means either they or SE is wrong because 17 * 5 = 85 which means the base modifier should be 15% not including the 1st level's 17% or 32% if you include that.

SE takes the alpha value, which is .85 at 99, into account when reporting the value as 17%.
To be really brief, 17% and 20% are both accurate. 85% and 100% are both accurate. It just depends on far you go into the damage equation before pulling out the number.

This. The WSC is composed of the modifier (attribute bonus percentage) multiplied by the alpha value. 0.85*100% STR = 85% STR with 5/5 merits, for example.
