The backgrounds on the macros shown on screen use the same texture pattern as the log window, however they are significantly lighter in color, and have extra highlights on the top left and bottom right corners.

I'm finding that there's a significant loss in contrast between the text and the macro background, making them very difficult to read. Particularly bad is the highlight in the upper left corner, which is nearly white and directly behind the first character or so of the macro name.

I would like to request two things:

1) Get rid of the highlights
2) Darken the background color of the macro palette somewhat (does not need to be as dark as the chat log window)

I've given this a few days of use, but this aspect of the implementation has been problematic since the update.

I agree completely and feel that this is a small but very important issue that ought to be addressed.

I agree, It is a bit bright, also the Command Menus doesn't seems to fix well with the Macro Bar as in how they all look.

I wouldn't mind the background being the same color as my chat boxes. I use Window type 6 which is the dark blue color.

You forgot

3) Give us an option to use the original smaller-sized macros without requiring us to lower our menu resolution below 1024x768.

Making GUI with white text on a semi-white background is the best idea ever. Go figure.

Just a note of thanks. Noticed that the macro button backgrounds have changed to a much darker shade of grey, and that they also remain the same regardless of window type. Much easier to read.

The macro is MUCH better to read!

Finally, I can see the macros again.

Not a fan of the fact that it is limited to certain resolutions. A customization for the size of the boxes would be nice.
