View Full Version : How about a Warp Jeuno <> WoE ?
I don't know.... WoE is not really used on most Servers.
As tho the Exp is Okish and its kinda fun.
I see a lot ppl in Jeuno that stand around...
I could see ppl doing WoE if such a warp feature was added...
So a Warp from Jeuno would maybe make ppl go WoE instead of standing around.
Afterall doing something > doing nothing!
Whats your opinion on this?

This would be great and encourage people to do it more - as it is now you have to retrace then get npc warp - it's like too many steps. Since now we can get direct port to BCNM which should encourage more of those - we should be able to port to WoE as well.

I guess I wouldn't complain, given that I want to do WoE and no one is doing it anymore =\
It's not that hard to get to WoE really, though...

I like the idea but it would be kind of weird to have an npc that just sends you back in time.

The Explorer Moogle in Ru'Lude seems to be in cahoots with Kupofried, who looks over the Walk of Echoes.
Just give him a 300g teleport service or something.

Add dynamis currency and heavy metal plates to WoE and maybe you might get some more people doing it. I like WoE but everytime I want to go I search the zone and there are like 10 people in there.

I'm not sure this would actually encourage people do WoE. It really doesn't take that long to get there. If you don't want the gear or coins(alot won't bother with coins since Empyreans are better) then they won't do it. Most see it as Voidwatch a waste of time because of terrible drop rates on Gear and spells etc.

Throw in an obscure Back to the Future reference and it'll pass.

One person could also just contribute to the entire server by having a BLM mule that you trade 300G to just like an NPC to Retrace you and take you there! It would build up...eventually.

This actually sounds weird because Empyrean are Voidwatch too. I considder it a waste stopping a Trail because you can't finish it. As mutch DMG as it can do... theres not 99 written on it. Like White Frames back in the day... either you have them or you don't care. Problem is about Balance again.
You don't need good gear anylonger to play. I recall ppl if inviteing a nin in 2005 going: 'No Pin ~ No PT.' But I'm Offtopic a bit.
I do VW and WoE (JP times if possible).... Voidwatch i do for gil and fun.
So I cant see how it could not work. Unless the majority of Players is not here for fun.
WoE is exactly that. Go in get your drops. Go Afk. Noone will stop you from doing this.
On the other hand ppl accept bad Gear now..... So why would you work for your Gear?
Maybe to help your friends do Stuff?
So getting things to sell from Woe or Voidwatch benefits everyone.... If ppl could to go from Jeuno to WoE in one step i could not see why they would not if theres nothing else to do.

mutchPlease tell me you did that on purpose.
Anyway... I'd love not to give up on the trials i've already started. But WoE was popular for like two weeks and now its dead again.

I don't know about other servers, but after the recent update adding new confluxes, on Lakshmi, I haven't seen more than 5 participants in the zone.

I would do Voidwatch if skillups were allowed. Same for Campaign Battle. I have a gimpy Summoning Magic skill and getting experience points without being able to skill it up is simply too much for me to handle, especially since all I get are logs. As much as I love logs, they aren't valuable enough to ditch the possibility of skillups.

Still a decent number of people doing it on Phoenix. Mostly in Japanese prime time though.
