Where and how do you add a mule on this new system?

Everything is done in your SE account.

I looked in my account management and can't find anything that says Content I D to add a mule.

I wish they would put it back the way it was, so much easyer.

The procedure might differ slightly due to region differences, but I would assume it to be pretty much if not exactly the same.


Under "Services and Options" on the lower-left quadrant, click on "Select Service".

Select "PlayOnline / FINAL FANTASY XI".

Select "Options List".

To obtain a new character, click "Add new options".

After you click on "PlayOnline / FINAL FANTASY XI", you should find your POL account name a bit downwards, below "Active Service Accounts", and the "Options List" and "Cancel Service" buttons should be next to it to the right.

Underneith Active Service Accounts it says There are no active service accounts at the moment.

Hummmm, have you actually transferred the POL account to your SqEX account?

It would seem to me that you have not, and you will need to do this sooner or later.
A little more downwards, does it speak of POL accounts that need to be transferred?

Do note that if/when you transfer (not same as linking) the POL account there, you will need to start using the new payment method as well, or rather choose one of the new methods.

Ok, found it and created a mule. Now I just have to find out where you name the new mule and choose race.

You were right, I didn't complete the transfer. Compleated it and created a mule, now what do you do to choose race and name him.

After you have purchased a new, unused Content ID, you can create a character normally in-game, or well, before the character selection screen where you have the option to select, create, or delete a character (and of course cancel is an option there too).
