But this time SE, you need actually think about what you are doing. You guys are famous for lacking any foresight in decisions you make, maybe buy a crystal ball and rent a gypsy?
4 people in woe now, this is starting to become the norm during non-jp times.
Woe weapons are pretty much impossible to upgrade. 100 die costs over 15 million gil for a weapons that barely beats magian elemental path weapons.
Again, I say this, and listen well. You constantly spout the BS excuse "game balance". That is not balance, so, the answer is simple. Fix it or make die and coins available somewhere else.
What is sad is that 99% of the player base knew this would be the end result, why didn't you? Don't let your pride get in the way and ignore this issue, it takes more guts and in my opinion shows true pride in what you do if you take ownership of the mistakes you make and try and rectify the situation.

Another thread for my postcounter while the OP doesn't bring up a realistic solution or even an idea how it should be solved.
The case that at non-jp times nobody is playing WoE does only mean that non-jp-players have less interest in WoE-weapons (otherwise there would be more non-jp-player)
Question - Empyrean Lv80 when did it beat any elemental weapon Lv80? And right now you'r talking about a weapon nobody knows how the would perform at their final stage.

I think this is a good idea. WOE has been dead every time I have tried to do it for the last month or so. Spending 45 minutes on a fight where 2 summoners kill an nm while 2 dds sit there and die -> RR repeatedly is lame. This system needs a coin swap NPC, and a point system that will allow you to purchase items, instead of this random chest crap. The once per hour thing is also a nuisance. No reason why Empyrean NMs should have 3 ??? and fast respawn, but theres a 1 hour cool down on the "easier" path.

Thanks for popping in to troll another thread with your poorly worded pessimistic nonsense. It's not his job to create / fix content, but since you bring it up..... There are about a thousand posts full of suggestions about it. You have undoubtedly trolled those threads too, so I'm sure your aware of this. They can start there.

Add a period of three to five minutes after you LOSE a chamber wherein the monsters despawn and the chests appear so that you can get a chance at coins, but have it so that scrolls and chamber specific equipment cannot be in the chest.
Also, switch it so that chests upon victory will guarantee at least one pouch.
Also before you say "There will never be a system where you get rewards for losing," keep in mind MMM's Revitalization Team rewards you simply based on progress made.

Something needs to be done about dice more so than it does for coins. It would take you less time to farm the 20mil you need to buy 100 dice than it would to actually find 100 for sale. I made 1 WoE weapon and even though I could afford to take it to 95 it's staying at 90 forever unless something changes. Dice should be no more than 20k and the supply needs to increase at least 10 fold for that to happen.

Add a linked point system for WOE and VW, so that players earn points from both events that can be used to purchase items from an npc (cait sith) inside the WOE zone. The items on the list that can be bought range from heavy metal plates, to coins, to synth items for the AH version of the VW gear, to mirrors, to dice. The only items not on the list, would be the rare/ex gear from VW and the items found in the confluxs of WOE. This way, you will still need to do the WOE for gear, or VW, or for some WOE gear consult your local AH. Also, I think for the higher WOE tiers, add a few rare/ex items. I hate WOE now that it has auto-rr, but worse than that I hate to see an event go to waste. This needs serious attention, ASAP. I would do WOE agian if there was rare/ex gear there that I needed/wanted and couldn't just stroll down to the AH to get. If it had a linked pinjt system, then when I coluldnt do VW I Would definitly go to WOE to get points to purchase heavy metal plates, or what have you. Throw the poeple that made their WOE weapons a bone here please.
I have a +2..... and a +3 (other Weapon Class) did mostly on Japanese times. Once NA Times start WoE will be Dead.
I could only see 2 reasons for NA Players to go.....
If a 95-99 WoE Wep would Outdmg an 80 Empy.....
If they added at least Effects to WoE Weapons (after useing the WS?)
Makeing Empy Abys Paths a lot harder....
Also there is an Issue If ppl go in an Alliance. If one Person has hate. Everyone in the alli will be on that monsters hate list.... this needs to be changed in order to make ppl Team Up!

Yes it's the OP's duty to give in his/her idea about how the problem could be solved since it's not the fault of the devteam that non-jp-players don't participate in this event. If there is something to change make then tell how it could be changed instead of QQing that you can't do _anything_ solo in a MMORPG.

And the OP asked about the relation between WoE-weapons and Trial-weapons.

And I replied that, at LvCap 80 nobody knew what the Empyrean weapon would look like cause every Trial-weapon was and is better at this level.
The other question or better your rant about becoming a jp-player - how about to team up like in the old days?
Make it an event or let it be and play at JP times.;p

WoE makes me extremely mad nowadays. I made a Daka+2 early this year and got it in a week grinding. Now I cannot even grind because there is not anyone there. I am not going to change my Real Life schedule to play with Japanese people in order to do WoE. Screw the change and screw WoE period. Empy here I come!

WoE is exceedingly hard to do when mobs kill everyone in a single TP move, melees deal like 10-50 damage per hit and mobs have things like "Enpetrify" or "Endoom". The ONLY way to beat WoE is literally to spam pet jobs like SMN and BST because players die way too fast even with temps. Do mobs really have to be so damned powerful? I mean the giant Hahava in one of the later confluxes. WS do like 100-200 dmg to him which barely takes off 1% while SMN and BST do like 1-2k damage from Blood Pacts. A single TP attack does like 4k damage to me making it completely unsurvivable. What are we supposed to do except keep Reraising and hitting a few times before wiping again. That's no fun. And all for some damned logs or ores.
Oh By the Way I Just got a Devious Die from #13 So the new Walks do drop these too.

WOE went downhill when they added RR, they should have made it so that the lower tiers could be low manned, the middle tiers 6-8manned, and the higher tiers needing an almost full alliance. The moves shouldnt be doing 4k ws damage every 20sec. This only makes two types of game play availabel as mentioned, either pet jobs or rr/attack/die/rr/attack/die. I will admit I had fun playing as a smn in WOE before the auto-rr, but other than that i dont see how the dying every 20 seconds could be fun. Maybe it should be called "Walk of the Beastmasters" or "Echoes of the Summoners"

Maybe a Limit ? Like "Only 6 Persons of the same Job can Enter?"

The dragon boss in 7 just spams TP moves every 10 seconds regardless of tp feed ; ;
I know that one sucks.... never found a way to life on meele lol.

Um... Every job feeds TP regardless of it's subtile blow.
I've seen a lot of good geared people meeleing those bastards and only feeding TP cause they can't outdamage a mage who feeds less TP per damage points dealed.
It would be interesting how the new WS will change the setups. Maybe the SAMs will come? *g*
Even IF there was a few meeles with subtile blow they would die quickly doe to 20 Avatars slapping the mob.
I'd vote to add Subtile blow to Smn and Bst pets like it was added to Puppets.

It still wouldn't change the fact that the mob uses TP moves when ever it wants regardless of TP gain.
thats only true for flux 7. Never seen it anywhere else.
