Mythics are currently too hard to obtain, not because of the alexandrite, but mostly because of the entrance of players needed to enter salvage and assaults. No one wants to do assaults anymore. And Einherjar not many people want to do as well. Don't mind doing prerequisites, but in a time where no one else wants to help, Mythics are harder to obtain than ever. High cost, low item payout.

Unless you're thinking of forum mythics (Camate's pompom is a mythic, I believe), you're in the wrong place. Might want to move it to GAMEPLAY or COMMUNITY.
I disagree. Revamps to salvage/NI/Ein are already on the way. Alex is being added to NI. Have you seen the new NI gear stats? People WILL be spamming the new NI which will almost assuredly add to your token bank. Ein/Salvage are scheduled for revamps in the next few months. If NI gear is any indication, salvage/ein will be granted new life as well. Which leaves....assaults. Honestly, i think some 3 man assaults that are easy as pie since we outleveled everything by miles isnt much to complain about.
Everything your talking about is already under review and development. Its already going to happen, just not right this second.
