Yes i'm speaking about Raja's, Tama's and Satava's,
however it doesn't end there (nor will i speculate on stats),
rather the DM Earrings, Apoc Nigh Earrings, Evokers Ring and Toau Rings
need an update too.

I wouldn't want that for free however. Nice Storyline based Quests should be going with the Upgrades.

While on COP Rings there was an answer a while back....


We spoke to the development team about the possibility of scaling the stats on the Chains of Promathia reward rings to match the new level cap. They let us know that they’re already looking into this, and are carefully investigating it so that balance can be maintained between the CoP prizes and other rings.

....there was nothing about the rest.

Evokers quest is by far the most easy to see as in Kill Alexander, Odin, Caitsith and Atomos for 4 Upgrade Items to get the ring to the new Stage.

The rest is pretty unclear atm :P

But! Don't you want them upgraded rather then have the rotting in your Mogsave?

I'd love to hear more details from this as well.
When will CoP rings be updated? What about CoP earrings? And RotZ ones? ToAU Rings? etc etc

Evoker's Ring:

Well, the Evoker's doesn't rot in any safe because it is still the most useful ring, but being able to upgrade it to +1 using the method you outlined would be really cool, whenever those avatars come out.

Divine Might Earrings:

Abyssal Earring INT +2, Scythe skill +5, Dark magic skill +5
Beastly Earring CHR +2, Evasion +5, Axe skill +5
Bushinomimi STR +2, Great Katana skill +5, Parrying skill +5
Knight's Earring VIT +2, Shield skill +5, Divine magic skill +5
Suppanomimi AGI +2, Enhances "Dual Wield" effect, Sword skill +5

The Dual Wield on the Suppanomimi is 5% delay reduction. I'm not really sure how these could be upgrade too much, considering that most people have a Suppanomimi or a Bushinomimi, and the effects on the Suppanomimi are still quite strong when compared to other earrings. Not all quested gear needs to be upgraded either - we could leave many things in the dust. Actually, if I had an upgrade suggestion to this, I would allow players to get all of these earrings in some form of quest as they get higher levels, or on a different extreme, have a questable earring you can get with the stats of all of these earrings combined.

Apocalypse Nigh earrings:

Ethereal Earring HP +15, Attack +5, Evasion +5, Converts 3% of Damage Taken to MP
Hollow Earring DEX +2, Accuracy +3, Ranged Accuracy +3, Sword Enhancement Spell Damage +3
Magnetic Earring MP +20, "Conserve MP" +5, Spell Interruption Rate Down 8%, hMP +1
Static Earring MND +2, Magic Defense Bonus +2, Bonus Damage Added To Magic Burst

Once again, a bunch of earrings that might be hard to upgrade. Still, I think that these earrings aren't so cut and dry on choices. You could have a combination quest of course, which would eliminate the pain of having to choose just one of these, or they could get some modest upgrades.

Either route would be incredibly easy - the combo route would be like Mama Mia with repeating the quests, or a fight that uses one of the earrings as the pop item to upgrade that earring.

ToAU Rings:

Balrahn's Ring Magic Accuracy +4, Assault: INT +4, MND +4, CHR +4, Adds "Refresh" effect, Lv.50 All Jobs
Ulthalam's Ring Accuracy +4, Attack +4, Assault: STR +4, DEX +4, Adds "Regen" effect, Lv.50 All Jobs
Jalzahn's Ring Ranged Accuracy +6, Ranged Attack +6, Assault: AGI +6, Enhances "Snapshot" effect, Lv. 50 All Jobs

Easy. Although once again a combination ring could be made that shares all the stats, I think a better route then that would be a key item that activates Assault/Besieged latent effects when the user is at a certain level. The ideal for this would be a key item that activates these effects, perhaps as one of the bonuses for getting Captain Rank and climbing all of the Nyzul floors (perhaps even the new ones when they're implemented!).

The majority of Assault stats (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Assault/Items_with_Assault_Bonuses) aren't even that big a deal compared to new gear bonuses that are available, with the exception of the Storm Crackows (easy to get +12% movement speed for all classes finally?) and the Imperial Ring (+4% Haste ring). Besieged bonuses (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Besieged/Items_with_Besieged_Bonuses) aren't that extreme either, the stand outs would and item with Haste +3% (the job restricted Mercenary's Mantle, back piece), and items for ranged attacks.

A key item that activates the Besieged and Assault latent while the character is level 99 would be wonderful, and could be an amazing reward for some of the new Nyzul Isle content SE is planning for example.

Careful... they mentioned balance... we might see nerfed rings and earrings in the future.

Also idk about you but my Suppanomimi, Ethereal Earring, Rajas Ring, and Jalzahn's Ring aren't rotting in my mog safe.


That aside, would love to see post-75 enhancements to these items provided that they're decent upgrades and have some sort of actual work requirement to upgrade them so that the stat increases are actually worthwhile increases.
