Can't get Magian Trial progress in Dynamis Valkurm

I am on Trial 879, which requires killing beast type mobs in dark weather or on darksday. I killed Nightmare Sheep in Dynamis Valkurm, and I did not get any trial credit. I verified that there was darkness weather present (double darkness), and that the sheep yielded exp.
