When are we getting Caithsith as a Summon?

Same as we got Diablos. When are we getting Caithsith? I played WOTG all the way threw and there are animations that Caithsith uses. They do look like summoning appearing animations but thats just the start. In 1 WOTG mission Caithsith growns big, it seems kinda dumb and I would hate if that was its Astril Flow.

Please add Caithsith BCNM and making it another Carbuncle light based avatar since we already have 2 main Dark based avatars already.

Make Caithsith sorta a bard based kinda summon, mainly it 2hr plus everyones main stats +100% for 30secs and they dont stack.

Say u have 10 str it will become 20str

Say u got 100 str it will be 200str

Sure its high but its only 30sec

Would make a great more deal of players actually finish WOTG for the summon cus the final earring to some players doesnt cut it.

You know Wotg mission 24 Distorter of Time really left an impression on me. I thought Cait Sith Ceithir working in conjuction with Atomos really worked out well. What if they gave us what we saw in the fight? wouldn't that make an interesting avatar. We would summon Caith Sith who has a pact to call Atomos to her side. 2 people counting as 1 avatar, similar to the magus sisters of being 3 in 1. This tag team was a combination of Light and Dark elements. Just an interesting thought.

Wotg spoiler alert below if you haven't beaten it yet. I agree with you about Carbuncle and i wouldn't mind a new furry friend.

You know the idea of the bard avatar keeps being brought up. People keep bring it up over and over and i never really put any thought into it because SE gave us avatar favors already making us bard like. But after seeing Lilith Ascendant i said to myself, i want that. just rename Lilith Ascendant to Siren, Eden, or Asura and she's partly ready to go. Her Elemental Gyves work nicely as pacts for a bard avatar effect don't you think? And lets say by tuning on her avatar's favor, it reverses each Gyves enfeeble effects into buff effects. For example, Elemental Gyves Red gives Burn and Attack Down but with favor activated it turns into +str and Attack Up. SE would have to change some Gyves effects (like cyan) to not overlap existing avatar's favors. (like shiva's)

SE could change the story saying "wait, instead of dieing the Goddess saves her like pulling a rabbit out of the hat and makes her an avatar." Having touched the wings of the goddess, she changes into one. (No more crazier than the other avatars origin stories.)

Maybe Summoner has to be its own class rather then stealing roles from others. Maybe we can see some new ways SMNs avatars can be used in battle... Diablos: Demi (removes a % of HP from enemy based on Diablo's HP (lower Hp=+Spell) & Enemy type & level (Can Resist), Titan: Phy Shield (block 2 single/aoe melee) Fenrir: Mag Shield (1 mag shadows (block 1 single/aoe magic) (They Overlap with each other, but not with ninja shadows or stoneskin or blink) Garuda: Hastaga 2, Carbuncle "Regainaga" 1TP a tick for party.

I'd love Cait Sith to replace Carby by my side as a beefed up light avatar -we need one of those- though I doubt very much it would happen. While I do love my little blue buddy I think after all these years we need some space from one and other to meet new people -or avatars- so we can both grow as people or radioactive raccoons.

I'll welcome any avatar however I'm more interested in what the avatars will be doing.

~New Avatars?! I would like to see new types of avatars...

Adding another Alex/Odin would just offset these two avatars offensive/defensive capabilities.

I like Alex/Odin where they stand atm adding more like them would be just adding another tool in the box.

We gotta stop asking for this summon blah blah blah, its about what they are going to be able to do that makes our job more fun etc. Or SE going to give us what name avatar we want with crap abilities.

I think 9 cait siths being about as useless as our 8 spirits would be hilarious as well. Just imagine, 9 new avatars, and none worth using! Jackpot!

I know this is a Cait sith thread, but once i saw the big-ass moogle at the end of "a koople de'ta" I fell in love with him. He'd be freaking awesome as a summons, maybe with it's own strong treasure hunter and Gil finder traits. His moves are cool and imagine an astral flow where 6little moogles pop out and bash a mob together.
One advantage is that the programming already exist in game, just needs to be "given" over to player control. I might post this as a separate thread?

i personally wouldnt mind cait sith.. s/he is so cute..
and also of a very appropriate size.. and already has FF heritage as a summon..

but other than that, I'd love to see another light-based avatar that can be summoned full-time and not just during Astral Flow.

however, I'm also aware that Cait Sith plays a pretty big role in the current story arc we're currently following (Voidwatch), maybe there will be light at the end of the tunnel for this one.. haha

I haven't started doing the Voidwatch content yet (too much other crud left to finish, so I just kicked it off so stones are building), but with the way WotG ends, idk if making Cait Sith an avatar would work too well story wise. Same might go for Atomos I guess...idk. SE has a strange way of integrating things sometimes.

i just keep flashing back to FF dissidia, 1 of the atomos versions looks like the maws in 11... so maybe thats the 1 we might get sometime... but then again who knows, might get a random avatar they draw from a hat (like most ideas they have nowadays >.>)

theres a quest that starts once you've obtained all 3 Voidwatch T4 NM titles in Pashhow [S], which introduces you to 2 alternate reality versions of characters that we know are capable of interdimensional travel. one is a cat, the other is a moogle.

strictly speaking, its only a cutscene tho.. but i suppose it might be a cutscene quest series that kinda explains the storyline of Voidwatch a bit
