now confirmed on 5 weapons every picture animation for +4 weapons upgrade shows the mitts as final result

seen it on all +4s so far and not sure what we need to upgrade them but its "15 ..."

The Mitts have always been the placeholder for new items.
Not translated or yet named items have always been "." items.

This is normal on the test server.
