View Full Version : Installation of FFXI Test Client fails

I tried to install the ffxi test client today and i got the message "The PlayOnline Viewer has not been installed. Please install the PlayOnline Viewer before attempting to install FINAL FANTASY Test Client." Needless to say i am an active player and i have already both playonline viewer and ffxi installed on my pc. Any ideas why i'm keep getting that message? Thanks in advance.

You're trying to install wrong version. There's EU and NA versions. U11203W_001 folder is NA and U11204_001 folder is EU. You just need to pick the one that your installed POL is.

Yup you are right, i download the EU version and i installed it no problem. Problem solved, thanks alot man.

Hi guys. I'm trying to access the test server but it says i'm not ellegible for it.
I followed the the criteria for what I need to apply which includes:
*All the expansions/add-ons/battle areas (I have them all),
*A character over level 90 (I have BLU95, MNK92, SAM95, etc)
*To be able to login to the forum (I'm posting on it right now!)
*Transferred your account to a Square Enix account (already did that along with my security token)
*You need the windows version (I play on a windows PC).
I've met all 100% of the criteria, but won't let me submit because i'm still not "elligible".
Can someone shed some light on this please?

hello ive used the test server b4 on the same computer but just tried it again just now after doing the update and it say invalid content ID on the purple screen how can i fix this problem

If the last itme you used the test server was before the last live version update, you will need to apply for the test server again. The testing is done in phases, and you have to reapply for each phase.
