Forget meteor. What happened to the epic-ness of Ultima in previous FF's.. Green lights flying around destroying everything in it's path - etc etc.

I would choose a single target, very devastating spell such as Ultima over Meteor anyday. Hell - even give BLM the weakened status after it's been used (kind of like using THF tools and getting unlucky). Weakened for like 10 minutes or something.

No to being weaken for 10min. Are you out of your mind about that?

What/how would this ever be useful unless you can 1 shot HNMs with that and that will never happen. A weakened BLM = useless. A Double Weak BLM = level 47 RDM backline healer at best with stupid long recast time.

It was mentioned in another thread that most FF titles have either the spell or the mob version of ultima, but not both.

There is currently a Light Elemental Nuke in the dats for BLM99. This could be Ultima, but who knows.
