my general idea is that some jobs have surivability 2hrs while some have offensive 2hrs, why not flip flop them for some jobs? like give thf an offensive 2hr, or whm an offensive 2hr.

Conforto Ars (latin for: drasticly Improved Strategems)
5 Minute Duration
2 Hour Recast
Unlocks the full potential of all of your stratagems.



White Mage
Hammer of Altanna
Deals Massive Light Elemental Damage to all enemies in range, restores 50% MP to all targets in range.

Ranger
Arrow Hail
60 second Duration
Removes Ranged attack delay. Increases chances of shooting two-three times on weaponskills.

Black Mage
Wisdom Of the Ancients
5 Minute Duration
100% Conserve MP chance. Unlocks Forbidden Magics.
Allows the casting of " Meteor, Ultima, Melt down, Doomsday, Tidal Wave, GigaVolt, Typhoon, Fissure, Absloute Zero"
all of the above spells are AOE damage, and can only be cast 1 time each during WOA. each spell carries an addtional effect:




Blue Mage
Soul Mastery
5 Minute Duration
Unlocks ALL blue Magic including Unbridled learning spells.

Red Mage
Spell Blade
Duration: 2hours or untill death, zone or dispelled.
Increases Melee Prowess, Augments Enspells, Spell interruption rate -100% with weapon drawn. Augments Temper




Astral Possession.
Summoner
Duration 30 Minutes
Grants access to Bloodpact: Possession (job ability)

Blood pact Possession would allow the usage of ANY known avatar blood pact, with or without avatar summoned. all enmity generated by this ability is placed on the summoner, NOT the currently summoned avatar. the summoners stats would affect this ability directly. they would all have a base of MAB IV (the same as avatars) and be calculated off of the SUMMONERS stats ( finaly giving all that MAB gear smn can wear a bloody use)
Recast on this ability would be 30 seconds

Ninja
Ninjutsu Mastery
Duration 5 Minutes
Augments Utsusemi

Utsusemi now generates Clones Porportionate to the number of shadows generated by the cast. these shadows have their stats reduced to (1/Number of shadows) so 3 shadow utsusemi = 3 clones with 33.33% of your base stats. so on soforth. these pets cannot be controlled, they will follow you and assist you. they will SC with you and each other. they last 60 seconds or untill killed ( they only have 1 HP, so an AOE will instantly Kill them) in essence this ability will double your damage output for 5 minutes.


Puppet Master
Roll Out
Duration 2 Hours
Summons an Ultimate Autobotmaton.
Effect: Summons Puptimous Prime

this one is just a joke for anyone who didnt get it:P

Puppet Master
No Strings Attached
Duration 5 Minutes
Transfers all Attachment Effects to master, Apropriate maneuvers enhance this effect. Prevents Overload.
Example: Puppet has Flame holder equipped, Master gains the effect of the flame holder on weaponskills, and is enhanced by the appropriate maneuvers.

Dancer
Totentanz
Duration of granted effects: 2 Hours
RaiseIV and Re-raiseIV (no exp loss, and no weakness)

Dark knight
Demonic Embrace
Duration 30 Minutes
Summons a random Demon Pet Under your command. assists dark knight similar to the dragoon wyvren, cannot be controlled. Enhances all dark magic Effects by 25% while demon is under your command.
pets:
Imp> black mage can cast all black magic spells up to masters level
Demon> Dark knight
Taurus> Monk
Gargouille > Warrior

Love ur ideas and thats exactly what I was thinking. Like WHMs have the spell Ultima or something as a offencive 2hr.
And also, I hope they reduce 2hrs to 1 hr. That would be nice :)

Nice concept but always imagined DNC could get some sort of JA Raising Waltz...of course a huge recast timer(none 2hr ability) to prevent from being over power but this works as well.. Did have a question though...

Would the RIV/RRIV be in the form of a Waltz or AOE?
If Waltz
Like Trance, would be able to be used on all members of alliance or would it be like Healing Waltz and party only?

ahh it would be AOE, coulda sworn i typed that, and no it would be limited to party only, a full alliance with a no weakness raise would be far too OP. basicaly this is either used ahead of time for an extremely hard fight, or after a wipe is in progress.

I kind of like the 2hr duration 2hr ability concept. a nice buff to merit differently according to your play style. more thoughts on this?

Drg should get a side quest to let their wyvern grow especily since they introduced Bravo. SE you did it to yourselves but might be cool to have a fafnir behind you to just saying

It'd be cool if Dancer's new two hour could be like Hundred Fists.

that would be pretty silly, given how close dnc can get to the delay floor already with haste samba, gear haste, and DW. All hundred fists does is reduce your weapon delay to 20% w/o murdering your tp/hit.

yea i was gonna say... with onyos knife, auric dagger and all the dualwield/haste gear.... dancers at like 50 delay >_>

My noob side is showing! I actually don't know much about MNK as i've never played it for more than testing out the 2 hour once. For some reason I thought it gave more attack power as well, silly me.
