we used to get a new weapon skill every 20-25 points of skill in this game I.E every 5 levels post 50 for an A+ user. but after our 290-300 weaponskill the ball kind of gets dropped..... here we are at 396 skill, and no new weaponskills... ill go so far as to count emperyan weaponskills as out 325 skill... but we were due a new WS at 350 and yet another at 375, and yet another at 400.... now i understand coming out with a new WS every update might be a daunting task, so id settle for a 375 and a 420ish Weaponskill, preferably making the 375 skill a moderately- very usefull skill for anyone who can obtain that skill ranking, and the 420ish weapon a job exclusive WS akin to the mythic weapon skills.

Sword:

Runic Slash
375 Skill
RDM PLD WAR BLU DRK COR
Deals Light elemental damage, Absorbs MP. posses no Skill chain properties
Modified by Mind and Magic attack bonus

Altana's Wrath
Paladin
420 Skill
4 hit Weaponskill, Deals light elemental damage. generates large ammounts of enmity.
my desire for the final paladin exclusive weaponskill, it would involve 3 sword strikes, ending with a spinning shield bash, akin to the bash done by the elvaan in the WOTG CS in la'vule. the damage from this WS would be 100% Light damage, boosted by STR VIT and MAB, and would be boosted by the defense score and shield type currently equipped, and possess an enhanced enmity modifyier. it would be Enmity Increase based on TP.bigger shields will produce more damage but lower enmity smaller shields will produce more enmity but less damage. this is to counter balance the WS so a static ammout of enmity is generated from this WS regardless of the shield you use.

3 Hit weapon skill, Additional effect: En-aspir

Vermillion Mist
420 Skill
Red Mage
Deals Fire damage to Enemies within Range, Enspell damage +50%. duration varies with TP
Modified by INT MND & MAB.

Sword of Rage
420 Skil
Warrior
1 Hit, Damage Varies with TP. Increases Attack power.
(45 second berserk effect, stacks with berserk wears off if weapons are changed.)


Great Sword

Steel Barrage
375 Skill
WAR PLD DRK
6 Hit weaponskill, damage varies with TP
Because greatsword has been denyed a WS over 2 hits.

Shadow Squall
420 Skill
Dark Knight
2 Hit weaponskill deals damage to enemies within range. Crit chance varies with TP
because Greatsword lacks a good Crit WS, and DRK lacks a good AOE.

Justice Bringer
420 Skill
Paladin
Deals Light Elemental Damage. Reduces Physical damage Taken. Enhances Enlight Effect (+50% enlight damage)

Ravage
420 Skill
Warrior
3 Hit crit chance varies with TP, increases critical hit damage for 30 seconds.

Scythe

Mourn Slash
375
DRK
Deals damage based on lost HP. Additional Effect Dread Spikes (1/5th Max HP)

Twilight Reaper
420
DRK
Delivers an Area attack (360degrees, melee range), absorbs HP from enemies. Additional Effect Terror. ammount drained varies with TP

Polearm

Deals high thunder elemental Damage. additional effect Defense Down

Wyrm Killer

420 Skill
Delivers an Aerial Attack, damage varies with TP. Additional Effect: "Jump" multi attack bonus.
the additional effect would increase the chance of double tripple or quadruple attacking on your next jump ability, completely random chance of which one occurs.
Animation: Dragoon Jumps and lands with no flashy animation, then jumps back, the monster explodes a second or two later.

Dagger

Dirty Deeds
THF DNC WAR NIN RDM BRD
375 Skill
Delivers a 5 Fold attack, Accuracy Varies with TP. Additional Effect Paralyze>slow>blind>Defense down >ACC down.
this WS will deal 50% of normal attack damage per hit, and each hit will inflict a debuff that lasts 10 seconds (more based on your MND VS their MND)

Bandit's Edge
420 Skill
THF
Steals From the target. Damage Varies with TP.
Aura Steal Merits will work for this Weaponskill.
Reasoning: because thf has plenty of good WS's and a 5 minute timer on steal is EL-OH-EL.

Mana Breaker
420 skill
RDM
4 Fold attack. Additional effect: MP drained Varies with TP.

Single Hit Attack. Damage Varies by "steps" active on target. Additional Effect: Store TP varies with TP.
Mechanics: Damage would hinge completely on the number of steps active on the target, as well as double attack and tripple attack. this weaponskill would be weaker then every other high end weaponskill unless the monster is aflicted with 5 or more steps, which at that point it would be hands down the strongest WS dancer has. and steps over 5 would continue to increase the potential damage.

Singing Strike
420 skill
Bard
6 Hit weaponskill Deals Critical Damage. damage Varies with TP. Additional Effect: +2 to next song.




i could think of weaponskills all day long, ( and i probably will) but this is the gist of what i want: while you did good with nyzul weaponskill systems, dont make the mistake of releasing singular job exclusive weaponskills. release them for ALL the weapons that job is good at, or else people will never use weapons outside of that type due to their over powered-ness.

What THF actually needs is an better version of Mandalic Stab. i.e. a higher cRatio bonus and larger fTP so that they can actually be useful on high level mobs.

Or they could just boost Mandalic Stab.

ehhh i was always super dissapointed with it and wound up always using Sharkbite or dancing edge over it pre abyssea.

After playing thf, i gotta say, yall's damage is very under whelming. Even with an emp weapon, the regular dmg is just so low after playing war/drg/mnk/sam/pup that it just doesn't even compare to the rest of the DD. I feel like thf auto attack alone is 1/2 that of my monks. Just saying, yall really strike me as 'dps-lite'. More of a diet dps than a full blown dps.

I would like to see nyzul style job specific WSs for w/e that jobs main weapon might be. And they should all be simply awesome for that specific job instead of a couple decent WSs while the rest of them are never used. I would really like for them to have completely new animations too. Not just old WSs duct taped together.
