Honestly what is all of that about?

None of them give any information. Does SE just want our opinions on the idea without knowing what it entails?

As far as liking the idea/concept of each of those things, the only one I dislike is 2hour meritables. Seriously I cannot express what a horribly awful idea this is, I've had more than enough with 2 hour downtime abilities. 30minute recasts are more than enough.

Agreed. I've been thinking for years that 2 hours for a single ability is silly, and also feel 30 mins is more than enough. Let's look at this from a different perspective even. Most fights in this game (BCNMs, Voidwatch, and so forth) are 30 mins. If 2 hours were to become 30 mins, they'd still be "once per fight", and still retain their strategic use.

And likewise, when I heard that SE was using catagory 3 for 2 hour abilities, my first thought was "What a waste". I mean, people don't really play jobs for the 2 hour but rather what the job brings to the table overall, so how can anyone get excited about that? Why not just fix the current 2 hours that need fixing like you've been doing with BLU and SCH's 2 hour and give us something more fun and interesting for catagory 3, like abilities and traits?

Seems to me the threads are placeholders for more infos. Perhaps by time I wake up in the morning, or this time tomorrow we'll have some goodies in those threads.

That's 14 topics that need information. A lot of work, so I can see why they are going about it this way.

Still, you'd think they would just write it up in some text editor and copy paste it onto here.

It has been several days now with no extrapolation on these topics. Is it the volume of translations at once that is taking time? are the Japanese topics so curt as well? Is information being withheld until it goes live on the test server? I don't even feel I can comment on these topics without knowledge of the nature of the changes.
I really get the feeling the direction of game development has had a sudden shift for the worse between this ambiguity, lackluster results from the latest testing in progress, and unwillingness of the dev team to address current issues.

They added those dev tags so we and they can link feedback better. Recently, a lot of posts have been popping up that covered the upcoming changes, but that didn't fall under any particular existing tag header.

It also gives us a glimpse into the width of the changes SE is performing, and it looks like they are doing a broad spectrum overhaul of the entire game.

Most likely they didnt have information to give but wanted to provide tags to hear what we think about the new features.
