Logictech F310

So I have purchased a Logitech F310 controller and I have it set up with enable game pad on both PlayOnline and on FFXI game itself. When I test it, my buttons on the FFXI Configure will not show up or work. When I access the POL window itself, I can move the chocobo mouse around and access every menu on that window. But when it comes to the game itself, it will not work. No buttons, no directional keys, nothing period.

Customer service wasn't a big help...

Please help.

OK, we'll start with the silly questions first:

Did you install the pad's drivers?

If it's like my F710, do you have the switch slid to "D" for DirectInput, rather than "X" for XInput?"

How many pads are listed when you try to pick one in FFXI Config?
