The Porter Moogle is a great way to store and consolidate gear. That said we should not have to worry and store 1-11 claim slips. It begins to defeat the purpose and gives us something else to misplace, lose, or forgot to get out of the mog safe and run all the way back again.

They said they couldn't, for a reason I don't recall.

Because they store what items you have at the Moogle in the item itself. Items can store such information, key items can't.

Not sure what you mean by "register"? The porter moogle doesn't have its own huge inventory per player, so the items have to be saved somewhere. Usually character progress is saved by mission/quest logs or key items. There are also plenty of items that store such information, like WS points, which are always stored in the weapon itself.

What we need are more slips to store the slips, and then slips to store those slips, and slips to store those slips, and 1 slip to store those slips.
