Devs/S-E,

Have you forgotten about us European FFXI players?
Where is our preorder page for the FFXI -PLUS- Soundtrack?
Seriously, where is it? The news item said it would have been available to preorder a while ago.

I'm feeling lied to and let down tbh.

Hope to hear from you soon, a loyal FFXI fan.

Greetings RagingAvatar,

I am terribly sorry for the lack of information regarding the pre-order/purchase of the FFXI OST Plus in Europe.

The only information I have in my possession as of today is that release date got pushed back to December and pre-order are only possible on the French Square Enix website (http://www.square-enix-boutique.com/musique-musiques-final-fantasy-xi-original-soundtrack-plus.html).

I am doing my best in order to gather more details from people who are in charge of that and will make sure to let everyone know when more information will be available.

Again, please accept my sincere apologies.

Thanks for the reply - I'll look forward to the announced release later on - I'll keep my eye out!

Can you confirm whether Japanese or American codes for the bonus item in the soundtrack will work on European accounts?

I not only have to pay conversion fees from USD into AUD but then pay a shipping company an extra USD55 to get them (I got one for a friend) shipped to me coz SE refuses to ship to Australia.. soo ends up being about USD50-60 a cd......

Seems shipping to a major nation is hard....

Everything is expensive in Aussieland. This is nothing new and SE is not the only one who doesn't make it easy to ship there.

Try buying games that don't come out in your region- you have to pay a premium- often twice as much. I'm hoping Monster Hunter 3G comes out in the US, because if it doesn't the only way for me to play it would be to import a JP 3DS and the game which would cost literally twice as much as an NA one.

Hello again, I will bring a sad news to our fellow European players. As of now, no release of the OST is planned in the UK or any other EU countries that isn't France / Luxembourg and Belgium. OST arrived today in France and hopefully will be ready to be shipped in the next few days.

Regarding the code for FF XI, I am still in the process of confirming if codes from other regions can work on European FF XI accounts.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone for their patience and I completely understand how frustrating it may be not to be able to get the OST delivered in all EU countries.

Not in any means shocking.

Hello all,

unfortunately we are not able to release the CD in other EU countries at the moment. However, we will continue working on a solution for the problems that occured so that you hopefully will be able to enjoy the CD in the future.

We deeply apologize for this.

You do realise this sort of behaviour on the part of music publishers only helps promote the piracy they claim to want to stamp out.

We deeply apologize for this.I think I feel safe in saying most players would prefer a reason over an apology.

Hello RaenRyong, sorry for the late reply, this took me quite a while to confirm, but the code available in the CD will work regardless of the region of your account. Regardless of where you did order your OST, the code will always work.

For everyone, sadly as of today, there is still no news regarding a possible release for EU countries that aren't France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Once again please accept my sincere apologies.

but, in a remote eventuality that rest of europe will get the cd, spinet will be still available?

As long as it's from the first produciton run, yes. And since the code works regardless of your region, you could just import it from one of the countries where it is being sold (why it won't be available in the UK of all countries is beyond me)

Guess I'll have one of my buddies in Belgium or France order it for me.
Holland's being overlooked again, as per usual...
