How about a pile of gil that can be installed in your mog house as a furnishing if you have over 100,000,000 gil?

Absolutely love that idea. Will convince more ladies to come into my MH.
And if you were to suddenly have zero gil?

More like Occupy Rulude Gardens
I imagine a pile of gil furnishing would be goldsmithing.

Simple. Just make the MH moogle give you the furnishing, when you trade him 100,000,000 gil. :)

100,000,000 is the cap is it now? How could you go over it.

No. 999,999,999 gil is the cap, about 10 times as much. 100Mil is just a lot of gold coins. 100 million gold coins, to be exact. Let's assume that each coin is about the size of a quarter:
A US Quarter has a diameter of 24.26mm, or 2.426 cm
It has a thickness of 1.75mm, or 0.175 cm.
Let's now assume that this is flush, so the volume of one US Quarter is:
(pi) * (1.213cm)^2 * 0.175cm = 0.808 cm^3
Multiply that by 100,000,000, or the number of Gil coins that you have, and you get:
80,800,000 cm^3
1 Liter is 1000 cm^3, so this translates to:
80,800 Liters.
100,000,000 Gil could fill an 81,000 Liter pool. That's approximately 21,300 Gallons.
I'd say you'd need more than a pile...
Amazing that we carry around that kind of money no problem. Our pockets must be enhanced through the power of anima.
