New PvP Grounds Tome coming? Or some strange book boss?

At first I thought it looked like the players were attacking eachother, meaning some kind of PvP event. However it looks like the book is casting a spell, so this makes me think the black Grounds Tome is what they're fighting.

So is this just some new Voidwatch enemy, or some new system altogether involving black Grounds Tomes?

It's a new VoidWatch enemy called: Rw Nw Prt M Hrw (aka. The Book of the Dead)

looks like they're attacking the book to me. e.g. the book is the monster. Considering this has been done with the SCH LB5, it doesn't suprise me.

D'oh you're right. Besides being on the test server for testing, it also appears in the Voidwatch Part 3 (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/16862-dev1039-Voidwatch-Third-Chapter?p=224781#post224781) post. Oh well, it could have been so much more! :)

yeah at 1st i thought wth, a book? an nm? ooooook, but i do know that new fov/gov are being introduced, so, as long as we not gotta force our gov/fov books for xp by beating it up, i'm all for it ><;
