just a idea but what about a option to have xp converted to curor conquest points, imperial standings, or allied notes for when someones xp and merit points are caped on a job. It's rather painfull to see all that xp go to waste. Even if the conversion was on a reduced scale form the xp to the others it would be good with the person choosing which they want to hav eit set to. Would also help with the cost of voidwatch alot..

I like this idea. I know VW gives a surplus of Cruror, but I find myself useing it to upgrade atmas, a brew here, and a shinryu there, which reduces my account to almost nothing. Converting wasted limit points/exp to cruror will serve Me well.

To keep it fair though, the conversion would have to take place in a relevant area/event at the time of gaining the xp, similar to experience points -> limit points. So Abyssea/voidwatch would convert every 10 xp to 1 cruor, while toau areas would generate IS, conquest areas CP and wotg areas AN.

Also should probably have Signet/Sanction/Sigil for the non-Abyssea areas.

Of course, a conversion to Gil would be a nice option too, provided the conversion rate doesn't flood the market too badly.

Just about Everything you do in Abyssea nets you more crour than anything.

Not sure if I can swallow converting excess exp into crour... which in turn can be cashed in for gil.

I agree with this. Abyssea maybe shouldn't get the option, but it's especially a good option for GoV areas, where you build your prowesses and the whole point is that you stay there for as long as possible. I was skilling all my secondary weapons on WAR in the Tree recently and I was there for ~3 weeks building prowesses, skilling up, and then just a bit of additional farming once I noticed the price of wysteria lumber ;). I capped exp after about the second day there though and there's no way to spend them out in the tree.

There was always going to come a time when you were capped and EXP mean't nothing.

No reason for SE to allow you to convert it into something else.

Ah but thing some peeps don't realize is how fast things like voidwatch and even brewing burns curor. Just upgrading atmacite for vw will cost millions and not to mention cells for drops.

Just give more merits options. Like HP/MP going to 99 but need 30 merits to increase one level after level 15.

Unlock more weapon skill merits and skills too.

Last add the ability to transfer your extra merits into ice crystals so you can sell them for money! One crystal 1 merit == 10,000 exp.

I think AN/CP/IS are the only things that should be obtainable through EXP once capped. In order to do so tho you MUST be capped on EXP and LIMIT POINTS. I believe a fair conversion rate could be for every 1000 exp you get 10 points. Either through Void Watch or Conquest or Sigil or Sanction areas. Abyssea should never count as you already get cruor. The conversion rate don't seem like much but add that to what you usually get and with level sync and you could still pull a decent amount, and honestly anything is better than nothing.

one other option is a 2nd kind of cruor that can't be used to buy any sellable/npcable items well except maybe cells though people would be unlikely to buy them if they have more curor to get themselves. Just for arguments sake lets say someone decided to upgrade all their atmacite that would come to roughly 69,536,000 curor then remember cost for cells warping and other uses. It makes it a rather insane amount required even at the current rate you can acquire it.

American Dad Quote. "Hello MasterCard do you take payment in the form of adventure, hello colleges I'd like to pay my son's tuition, I don't have any money but my husband is rich in adventure!"

Like Francine says, it's impossible to Sell EXperience. this would make the game economy retarded lol.

All merits capped, all jobs capped, where do i shove the experience now (other than the obvious place) ?

Necropostin' like it's 1999!

If you're done with xp, stop farming it... it's not like it overflows the garbage dumps if it's useless to you.
