Noticed when fighting different mob types they drop different elemenal crystals instead of currency or AF in its slot. I was wondering if that was intentional or a mistake?

She didn't "posit a concern," she asked a straightforward question.
Throwing the goddess-forsaken bug report template at anyone and everyone whether they're actually trying to report a bug or not shows you just can't be bothered to read what players write.
Getting pigeonholed into that damned template is a pain in the rear, especially when there's uncertainty about whether or not the behavior is a bug to begin with, whether or not an actual bug report is warranted. It does nothing but punish players for their genuine concerns, which discourages players from actually trying to report bugs to begin with.
Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if this entire process with its brazen use of form letters serves no other purpose than to get your customers to shut up to begin with.

While I wholeheartedly agree with you (even disregarding the fact that the template is borderline useless even for actual bug reports), this may not have been the proper forum to ask that. For that matter, the existance of such a forum is a mistake imo, it should be a site on POL that has a predefined template that needs to be filled out, with this forum being for bug discussion, and not bug submission. That's something that forums generally are not meant to do, but form-websites are.

If you had signet than that's why, the mobs give exp now and such can drop crystals cause of it, it doesn't replace a good drop, just adds a crystal slot

To the best of my knowledge you don't get crystals from any other dynamis zone (only ones I haven't done after the changes were implemented are windy and qufim).
I was also under the impression that for mobs to drop crystals, the area needs to be under a nation's control, and that can't happen to a dynamis zone. I may be misinformed though.

Hello!
Thank you for the additional information!
Regarding your direct question on if this is a bug or not, I'm afraid that GMs are unable to confirm if this is a bug or working as intended. You see, GMs are not developers, so we cannot answer direct questions. This is why we ask that you fill out the bug report template, so that we can have it tested and find out for you! The developers and testers need base information to reproduce any possible issues, no matter what it is. So while a lot of information may not seem relevant, really anything could be the cause of a bug. This is why it is always necessary to provide this information.
For direct questions, you may want to try asking in the General Discussion area of this forum. Community reps are able to speak on behalf of the developers, so that might get a direct response!
I'll go ahead and submit your information for further testing. Any changes, news or updates regarding this matter will either be made directly to this post, or on www.PlayOnline.com and official FFXI forums. Thank you again!
