Much like they have them in shops, I'd like to see customizable, craftable, furniture pieces that can be worked with like a mannequin (to display your favorite weapons).

[] Polearm Rack - Holds Polearms, Great Axes, Scythes, and Staves upright. (holds up to 5 weapons, wall mounted)
[] Blade Rack - Holds Swords, Axes, and Great Swords at angle. (holds up to 5 weapons, wall mounted)
[] Katana Rack - Holds Katana and Great Katana like a proper katana rack would. (holds up to 3? 5?, can be placed on surface)

These would be awesome to have and I'm sure many who collect weapons would love to be able to display their earnings.

This is not a new idea.. people mentioned something like this for years.

Dynamic racks cannot work in FFXI, especially wall mounted ones.

A katana holder would be nice, but it would be a static furniture, perhaps showcasing a katana from the feast of swords with it's scabbard, made with a low level crafting recipe. (Like the fish bowls.)

If you want to showcase weapons, use mannequins. Those are like mannequins!

Relicmaker, buy a Panetierre. 65 storage in 1 furniture item. Allows you to actually have a mog safe again.

He's complaining that the "PS2 limitations" 80 slot container limit makes a lot of potential storage void. Bigger furniture won't solve that. (Also, that he has a poor taste in furniture, but to each his own... my own moghouse looks like the woodworking guild ;)

I'm confused.
Maybe I didn't have an active FFXI account at the time, but what is a "PS2 limitation?"

sounds like of the three platforms ps2/360/pc...(ps3 yet?), the ps2 is the lowest powered one n can only handle that size...so they 'handcuff' the others' display abilities to match the weakest link one.
