Migawari, Scherzo and Earthen Armor all mitigate damage of severely damaging attacks. I was just wondering whether that works off of raw damage, or received damage, after PDT/MDT/SS/Phalanx?

recieved damage. Thats why sometimes its better to not use shell, protect, and wear + damage taken gear, if the only dangerous moves are sever damage.
