i was testing out my Spiritreaver automaton and i noticed this behavior:

first my automaton would cast dread spikes on itself, then it cast absorb attri on a magic pot monster and stole it's VERY weak blaze spikes effect, completely replacing the still active dread spikes effect

absorb attri cast by automatons should be adjusted to not let stolen enhancement effects overwrite ones currently in effect, or be made to not overwrite enhancements unless they're stronger than existing enhancements

This is a defect of the spell, not so much a defect of the automaton

The effect chosen is random, even if a DRK casts it. Best if you have someone dispel it so it doesnt absorb that effect.

i'm well aware of that, but it's not a stretch that they could put special conditions on the spell when cast by the automaton to prevent that. an actual player would actively avoid doing the same thing if possible while the automaton doesn't know better and would drain that effect if it sees it

How about - in case the automaton has dreadspikes or any spike up it won't cast absorb attri?
It's not the best solution but for the time beeing a good workaround.
