Since the requirement dropped from 6 to 3 for Nyzul, did the lamp floors change? Or can you still end up with 'hit all 5 lamps at the same time' with just 3 people?

The requirement for Assault has been 3 characters for as long as I can remember. Are you perchance thinking of Salvage?
What comes to the lamps, they have not been changed. They might or might not scale a little depending of the character-count, but I haven't really noticed this enough to be sure myself.
They are doable with just 3, or even 2 and a ½, but sometimes it can be just too bad of a combination of the objective and location(s) of the lamp(s). Main problem is taking too much time with it, as even with 'use at the same time' lamps I have been always able to do by using 2 of them myself, as it does not require you to use them at the EXACT same time; as long as the lamps are 'burning', it still counts. Can't remember off-hand how long they light up for, 5-10 seconds?

You can get 5 lamps even if you are only a party of 3, it is still doable i guess but you'll need a bit of luck. I would suggest getting a 4th at least, to make the chances of being completely cockblocked a bit lower. Usually I just get 5 people to be entirely on the safe side.

Good point, yes I guess I was getting a little confused with the salvage reduction, and simply being a higher level, making Nyzul easier to low-man. Thanks for the responses though. I'll give it a go when people have a bit of time in the LS.

This DOSE include people who are in your party even if they did not enter.
And it's always been 3-6 players.

Are you sure¿?
I seem to remember having more lamps than party members several times... Most of the time actually. I wouldn't trust my memory too much, though. ^^;
Will definitely keep that in mind when / if I will do it again. Using all my tags currently to get all Assault missions done. Oh how I wish they would lower the time for new tags already, dannng it!

This thread caught my eye for this reason alone. I just did Nyzul Isle two nights ago with a 3 man party, and there were only 3 of us total. On floor #4 we had 5 lamps. We found the first 3 and established it was order. We tried it with those three and it wouldn't work. One of our memebers looked around and found a 4th. It still wouldn't work so we looked around some more and found a 5th.

I've done 1-100 9 times, plus countless armor and weapon runs, it just doesn't happen. That would be statistically impossible.

And yet it happened to me last week. Funny that.

I once had 4 lamps that had to be lit in a specific order pop when I was doing Nyzul with 3 guys. Other than that occasional annoyance, you should be able to make it through all right.
I wouldn't let that discourage you from trying. I think it's uncommon, and worst case scenario is that you lose the run and you can just try again later.
