View Full Version : One reason I hate fishing

Whited out ls chat and other fishermens results.
But this is one reason i cant stand fishing. I hadnt fished the 2 days before that. And two fish into it, i get 10 "you didnt catch anything"'s in a row.
And this is not a one time thing. Any time i try to fish the same thing happens. It even happepened on nebs using a hyclone/shrimp lure (sp). Useing a bad or good rod/bait combo doesnt rly seem to effect my result. It always turns out like the pic above.
Id like to beleive that maybe im just missing something, but i dont no about that...

I honestly can't say I know anything about that rod, but the moonphase plays a large role in how often you snag a fish. Try fishing on a full moon or new moon.

What level fishing are you? You'll get lower bite rates under ~15.
That's strange if its happening every time for a reasonable-level fish.
Any chance you're hitting ESC (or a background program is) before the fishing timer is up? Does it always take the same time before the "you didn't catch anything" appears?

There's a stamina limitation. You have to wait before you can catch something again. There's also a number of fish per day limitation.

10+ cast limatation between catches? I dont think so. And that pic their, the fish at the top was my second catch of the day. So unless two is the new limit, somethings wrong.

My fishing skill is 26. +1 from equip on at the time of that pic. Which might be a hefty level gap, but as i said its the same weither its on this or nebs (cap 27). (or anything)

It could have been a combination of a fished-out area, bad bait, poor skill vs cap, day/moon/weather conditions and plain old eyeballing a losing streak.
