The Final Fantasy XI is only half finished

2 continents. That's all we have explored so far, not including the past areas. We still have the Great Southern Empire and the Far West Continent. There's also the Far East that is connected to Aht Urghan!

I'll also point out the Orc and Gigas homeland to the far north that could be connected to major events that could happen in the future.

If you think about the world map and compare it to Earth, there are many cultures left to explore in the world of Vana'diel.

The Far West could mimic a more early-American land of forests and mountains, filled with new kinds of enemies such as Bison and Bears.

The Far East could be a more Asian-like culture with it's architecture and landscapes as well.

The far South could be more tropical much like Kazham, having more Rainforests and having culture similar to Africa or South America.

There's just so much left that could be done with this game. I honestly hope more innovative ideas can be made and more areas can be explored with new stories left to be told.

So much unexplored world, so little disk space to put it on.

There's a reason we don't get tonally new areas or expansion discs anymore, and it's not a matter of playerbase.

There's a lot of content to explore. I really wish they would add the Far East Empire (Tenzen land) and other stuff. Doubt tho.

One thing I have to Credit Blizzard for doing on WoW is that they upgrade graphics in the expantionpacks. If people want new content then upgrade your PS2 to a computer or your computer to a upgraded/better computer... I see alot of repeditive things happening in FFXI that I dont like. Abyssea is a copy of already existing areas along with all the monsters. So is Dynamis. There are alot of areas that look very similar and monsters are reskinned. If the reason is that PS2 is holding back SE to make content that is totally new with new monsters and areas, then I say buy a computer if you absolutly have to play the new content. FFXI shouldnt be limited cos PS2 is too far behind.

Not to be selfish, but I am getting tired of all the different colored crabs, hares, birds etc. I want new stufXD If this map is "real" and not fan mad, it opens up a possibility for SE to try and "refresh" the game a little and making it more modern with perhaps better graphics and completly new content^_- (I like the Bears u suggested^^ Perhaps they could introduce the Viking job in that area. Perhaps even a new race :D)
