What is the sitch on this. Is it in any situation better than an Apocalypse? and why...
It seems like in Voidwatch, having a 3 hit because of Save tp atmacite/roll, the main damage from this weapon (being its tp phase) from low delay and high crit rate, has diminished. Or i may be wrong.

Not a bad relic at all, its basically a "Mighty Strikes" sword...I heard you can get +50% critical hit rate with this sword

too bad the WS doesn't crit :/
other than a few mythics (+tier 3 aftermath) ragnarok is highest DPS in the game it beats all other relics in DPS only losing to Liborator and the DRG mythic.

Innate critrate bonus is 11~12%, Scourge aftermath is ~8%. It's a solid weapon for raw damage, but it'll never approach Apocalypse as an overall weapon.

Its crits alot higher than that, I have a friend who has the relic at 95 and its crits more than 50% whenever we dou. You should review the stats on this relic because its amazing. Three to four crits in a row, I seen it in action, raw damage, raw raw damage.

With the boost of damage on WS at 90 and the Relic proc increase, Ragnarok became a beast. I have Apoc and love watching my friend with Ragnarok go crazy. So much fun...

I dont know about that test, but I know what I saw and my friend was crit'in nearly 70% of the time with a lvl 95 ragnarok. Not mention the test in question was done with a lvl 90 relic. Plus the guy posted what his friend did, he didnt even do the test himself, I'm not given that test any validation I know what I saw

Was the 70% inside abbysea cause RR + Ragnarok should be around that.
Either way being able to have a 41%-61% crit rate outside abyssea is insane.
Rag(11+8) + Claymore(3) + Bale body(4) + merits(5) + Rcollar (5) = 36%
Min crit rate is 5% and max is 25% so 41-61% rate :O
I would definitely say Ragnarok is the most powerful DRK weapon but Apoc will beat it overall because it'll keep you alive once ya pull hate and it's really as simple as that.

We was douing in zeruhn mines, and I was very impressed from what I saw...Apoc is the overall best weapon for drk hands down, but Ragnarok is 2nd and a very impressive second at lvl 95.

I dont always make forum posts about powerful weapons that i dont own but saw
But when i do they are from seeing it used on too weak mobs.

PS: All the relic/mythic bonuses aside from hidden damage multipliers are exactly the same 90>95, SE did not add a new tier.

Taint and I have both had our Apocs for YEARS way before most of you probably even started playing. Taint is probably one of the best if not the best geared Drk around and has been for years. (Plus he lives near me lol). And let me run over to BG and find the testing done.
Apoc will always come out over ragnarok for one SIMPLE reason, the drain effect. IF I were to do another relic it would be ragnarok just cause its cool.

I'm not arguing apoc, its by far the best weapon...I just saying my buddy's crit % was disgustingly high with ragnarok, it was like he had mighty strikes on

Highly doubt he had Mighty Strikes on, that is just ragnarok being insanely powerful :) I can't wait til the 99 version. I still think that they will want the fragment, and paper to go along with something crazy.

Should have been clearer, I was referring to the traits granted by relics/mythics... Enhances critical hit rate IV, Augments Absorb spells IV, etc. Obviously mythic aftermath was changed.
Well i already have apocalypse and was just trying to decide on another relic and was wondering if this even had a situational use over apocalypse
It's slightly better DPS on high level/def NMs if you can go all-out without dying, that's it.
