Care to explain why Chloris Buds have a lower treasure pool priority than Issen Hachimaki and Ludic Mitts? Is it cause of the rare tag? Makes no sense...

Tags have that influence on pool persistance, yes.

If your inventory is filled with Two and Four-leaf mandragory buds, any and all EX items (such as all emp armor/weapon upgrade items) will fall right through the treasure pool into random inventories capable of obtaining them, while RARE/EX items will push out the oldest 2/4-leaf buds. (Why those Hannequets in Abyssea - Attohwa even drop them is beyond me, there's no point at all.)

Why is your inventory full in the first place while you'r fighting a notorious monster you have an interest in?

What does this have anything to do with a full inventory? I said TREASURE POOL

Then why is your treasure pool full?
Don't you focus on the fight that you kill what's left and right? In case the answer is yes - it's your fault to do so.

I think what's going on is that the OP's Chloris fights are running too quickly, and so the second fight is dropping stuff into the pool when there's still stuff from the first fight remaining there.

In which case, your group needs to take the extra 30 seconds to process the treasure pool from the first fight before you pop your next Chloris.

You could also PASS items you don't want or LOT what you want.

I'd like to see a much bigger treasure pool. I've seen way to many things forced out to people because of pool priority. Sometimes Lotting/Passing is not an option because of various reasons.

Ok cuz dumdum here still thinks its about full inventory for some godawful reason I dont understand, I'll spell it out:
We have 9 chloris pops, and one of our mules is sitting in 10m cruor, so instead of spending 30 min killing 9 chlorises, we decide to brew them all at once. It has nothing to do with easy mode, it has nothing to do with being garbage players...we just would rather get back to cleaving pops asap.

We kill 3 chlorises (TH active on all), and low and behold the buds and balance card force out because the pool is full, and the hachimaki and gloves sit in there for no apparent reason other than garbage gear taking space and forcing useful items out before they can even be lotted.

So you'r complaining about a system that's well known for YEARS and cause you can flood the treasure pool you cry over autosorted items cause you'r to dumb to time your kills so the pool is ready to take new loot without autosorting them.

DON'T blame SE for YOUR INCOMPETENCE.

I'm aware that certain items have higher drop priority than others, and it doesnt all have to do with rare/ex tags.

Done dynamis? How come synth mats sorted out before currency? How come single currency sorted out before 100s? None of those are rare nor ex, yet were given early distribution favortism. I'm aware that items tagged rare or ex have treasure pool priority, doesnt change the fact that theres some other means of picking what drops first.

doesnt change the fact that theres some other means of picking what drops first. The internal item ID numbers - the same reason the "default" sort order on the AH is such a mess.
