Thread Title:
Problem with Bastion A.I. Vunkerl

Platform:
Windows

ISP:
Suddenlink

Type of Internet Connection:
Cable internet connection connected directly to modem.

Internet Connection Speed:
8MB

Date & Time:
9:30 A.m. Central Standard time. But happened more than once.

Frequency:
Sometimes, but seems to happen when I am the only one participating at that location, however I've done other solos on it and had no problems.

Character Name:
Occured with my character Nephilipitou

Race:
Mithra

World:
Phoenix

Main Job:
Scholar

Support Job:
Redmage

Area and Coordinates:
Right outside of Conflux 00 in Abyssea Vunkerl while running to, or at the Martello Core.

Party or Solo:
Solo

NPC Name:
All of the Bastion NPCs that were supposed to be defending the Martello. Many of them were literally frozen in a running position and gliding away from the approaching army. They were going about walking speed but they were not walking.

Monster Name:
First time, never saw the monsters. Second I think I saw a chariot, but since all they had to do was slap the martello and retreat I couldn't see much.

Steps:
Wait till Bastion message
Grab Pennent
Run to Martello
Watch in Horror as all NPCs run away
Watch in shame as they sucker punch the martello and Bastion is over
Walk away confused

I updated with the format you requested. My original post is below the line.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I started doing Bastion and it's really starting to get annoying. In Abyssea - Vunkerl I've noticed that on occassion the NPCs will just all start "running"

This has happened twice. The first time I followed them thinking I'd meet up with the enemy, but then Clone Wards started disappearing, and we lost when we got to the NPC's destination which was a cliff of no importance where no enemies were anywhere around.

The second time they took off in the opposite direction of last time. Both times there was not a single enemy in their desired direction. What's worse is that the second time there were no clone wards, so they just walked up and... well... let's just say 1 confused lonely Scholar can't really do much when they walk straight up to a Martello, do 1 punch, and then it's over. >_<

Oh well at least I got my Cirque Pantaloni for now. I've got seals to be worrying about.

Greetings again, Nephilipitou!
Thank you for taking the time to report your concerns of the Bastion NPC's. It does seem very strange that the NPC's are running around like this, so I will make sure to submit your report to our development team, and they will make sure to thoroughly investigate the matter, based on the information that you have provided. I recommend either keeping an eye on this thread for any responses, or consulting www.PlayOnline.com for further developments, just in case. Thanks again for your report!
