OK not sure where to put this, anyway, I am sick and fed up to the back teeth with reraise dissappearing when you dc and log back in dead. Too much of my time has been wasted because of this and it needs sorting.
I cant believe its a problem that cannot be fixed, wasting 1:15 of a 2hr dynamis due to this is unforgivable. How has this never been fixed before??
C'mon SE pull your thumb out your arse and do your job.

OK this has happened again.... I cannot convay how hacked off I am. Seriously what am I paying my subscription for if I cannot enjoy the content because of poor programming?
I want a response or you can kiss my subscription good bye.

Yeah you are probably right, but it doesnt change the fact that this is a stupid stupid problem that should of been fixed a decade ago

It's a very very very minor issue that only becomes a problem when you have a lousy connection and still intend on soloing risky content. It's also very similar to being killed while in the animation of reraising and putting your weapon away, except you lose more exp that way.

I agree its annoying, but it's not on SE's end of things. Check your connection. You pay them for the game, not lousy connection speeds and sever hiccups.

50Mbs and its not the connection, my connection is great dont you dare try to presume like you know otherwise. It doesnt happen often its just that when it does, it pisses me off cos its something that should of never been an issue, at all, ever!
I mean its something that should take one of the programmers not a day to fix. and its not like dynamis is the only place where its an issue, nyzul isle, limbus, einherjar and woe, all of these events and more are vulnerable to this, and i know of many people on my flist and ls that have had timed content ruined by an untimely dc that upon their return had their carefully prepared RR removed from them.
And its not like i am asking to have the mobs deaggro when you dc or anything, I just think your RR shouldnt be removed if you dc, wtf do you use RR for anyway if it just gets removed.
I think you guys have missed the point entirely. Let me spell it out for you.
DC'S HAPPEN, RARELY, BUT THEY DO, TO EVERYBODY!
ITS A GIVEN THAT IF YOU ARE IN THE MIDST OF BATTLE WHEN YOU DC YOU WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE DEAD WHEN YOU LOG BACK IN.
I UNDERSTAND AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS. (as pointed out this is not SE's problem)
THE ISSUE IS ONLY IF YOU HAD RR UP WHEN YOU DC.
WHEN YOU LOG BACK IN YOUR RR EFFECT WILL BE GONE!. (this is SE's problem)

I get what you're saying and I agree its BS and should be fixed, we've all been there at some point. What is the point of RR if it wears off after a DC. Before you get defensive again, all we're suggesting is that you might need to check your connection if this is a continuous issue. I can tell you for certain that it doesn't matter if you have a 50MB connection speed or a 50TB connection speed. It's a two way road, and this game was made to support dial-up, so it does, unfortunately, have a connection speed ceiling limit. If you happen to connect wirelessly, that speed (both in and out) will always fluctuate. That on top of a congestion or a sudden server lull from your ISP can cause this. We're only trying to point out possible ways to help this not be an issue, mate. :)

They are not adding anything else meaningful to the game why not fix it. They got time to fix other minor thing that no one was even mentioned.

Sounds like you can't enjoy it because of a bad network connection.

And if you get killed again right after reraising, you need to homepoint too. Just get one of the mages you're with to raise you. Oh no, wait, you decided to solo risky content.
Also, how do you know it's a simple fix? I'm always greatly amused by players with no access to the game code proclaiming how easy it is to reprogram.
And this hasn't happened to me once in 8 years of playing.
Seems like a rather low priority problem, but I'm sure if you act angry and rude, they'll jump right on it.

That is because you're obviously not a programmer. It's not amusing to programmers because they know how easy some things are to fix (although I wouldn't call this one of them, but right now I'm judging by some of your comments in other threads). To us it's frustrating when SE won't take three second to change a variable that would improve the gaming experience of hundreds, possibly thousands of people.
And this hasn't happened to me once in 8 years of playing.
Then you're the luckiest person in the world. There's plenty of ways this can happen with a perfect connection as well (the myriad ways of POL crashing, for example, or if a shared account logs in and kicks you off, or if you're kicked out of a zone while dead, etc.). So I guess I can also assume that you don't play much.

Much how I'm sure it's frustrating to SE that of the thousands of man hours they've poured into trying to make a game that is enjoyable for said thousands, meant to bring joy and promote companionship, the only acknowledgement and feedback they get are for stupid annoyances that, while agreeably are relatively simple to tweak, must be a massive kick to their proverbial nuts when all they want to do is give give give and pretty much anyone with an obvious superiority complex ignores the hard work and complains about what they aren't doing right.
Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that half the programmers that have and continue to work on this game go home and cry in a bottle.
