I'd like you know if there there is a reason I gain pearl lights "Bjoerns body emits a faint pearl light" at a lower rate than ANY OTHERS (Amber/Azure/Ruby).....
I.E.
1.) If I use a physical weapon skill (kill shot) on a mob that provides Ruby light I ALWAYS GET RUBY LIGHT.
2.) If I use an Elemental weapon skill (kill shot) on a mob the provides Amber light I ALWAYS GET AMBER LIGHT.
3.) If I use Magic (kill shot) on an enemy that provides Azure light I ALWAYS GET AZURE LIGHT.
4.) If I use a physical attack (Auto Attack)(kill shot) on a mob that proved Pearl light I <DON'T> ALWAYS GET PEARL LIGHT.

Why do physical attack kills not receive the same rate of success as all the others?

Hey there Bjoern!

The thread was moved from In-Game Bugs over to General Discussion since it is more related to feedback/suggestions. I can understand why you would be reporting it as an in-game bug though.

Pearl is not 100% like all the other lights, that's why.

It's not a glitch. :< Pearl light is just lame like that.

It's the way the game was designed. It's not broken; it's intended. Move on. Case closed.

Actually, I do have a question regarding lights.

Is it possible to somehow indicate to the players how many lights they have? I mean each time we get a light no matter what it is the message is the same "...emits a faint ruby/pearl/amber/etc light".

Can we have a counter like we do for the trials or can the message change from faint to intense depending on the number of lights? It is a rather huge inconvenience to have to manually count down the lights... Not to mention w/s's for quests- is it possible to update those as well?

-danke for your time ^^

Pearl does seem to be 100% off NMs however, as my friend pointed out to me. If you're just trying to build lights in a low-man situation, then you can always pop tier 1 VNMs or kill some easy/desirable NMs to build a more potent pearl from them.

this!!! + NM gives "enhanced" lights (pearl from one NM =5-10 pearl from normal mobs)
low man or even full ally PT start azuring few ephemeral mobs, pearl few T1 VNM then go normal way (in full ally should take less than 5 min , 10 if other people building) then start killing and stop that "no ruby" crap

an other problem that need to be fixed is number of coffer in each zones, when there are several group chest farming in a single zone you often get low number of coffer while being pearl caped

That still doesn't give any reason.
It's much, much easier to obtain Azure/Ruby/Amber than it is to obtain Pearl.

I do agree that we need a way to "check" lights. Know if we're capped or not.
Would also love to be able to purge lights I don't want. Maybe at the cost of Cruor? Or purging certain lights causes other lights to be purged as well?
It's really, really lame when you have someone accidentally give you enhanced Ruby when you don't want it. [This happens ALL the time.]
The only idea I could come up with, would be to give us an item that summons an NPC [similar to the Magian Spectacles] that lets us check light counts as well as purge them.
