Hello everyone ,
So me and my brother decided to come back to the game ( we left in 2009 ), and I bought a digital copy trough amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XI-Ultimate-Collection/dp/B004V9QC80/ref=dsvrt_myd_asin_block ) so we could play together.
The thing is that the game I bought just came with a ffxi serial, and since everything is managed trough a SE account now it asks me for a pol registration code that clearly it doesn't come with the download.
I'm guessing I'm missing an installing step where it asks for the included serial and Ive done the installation process a couple of times with no luck.
I cant explain how frustrated i feel over this, so any help would be really appreciated.

I recently bought the FFXI Ultimate Abyssea version and didn't have to use any kind of POL serial code. You might have a different version so maybe that's why there's a difference?
If nobody else has a suggestion on here I'd recommend calling SE support and seeing if they can help you get it straightened out.
Thanks for your reply Feynman, may I ask if the version you bought was an electronic/downloaded version as well? If so could you please describe me the registration process, Mine only came with one serial number and so far I haven't been asked to introduce that information.
Please note that I don't want to add the FFXI Ultimate Collection to my already running version of FFXI, I want to start a new account so I can play with my brother, do I need a new SE account for that?
I know this sorta looks like a basic thing, but I've wasted several hours trying to figure this out...

All of our releases for FINAL FANTASY XI since 2008 have included a universal registration code; a single code that provides access to whatever content the release includes. So the one registration code you were provided with that purchase will give you access (in the case of that release) to PlayOnline, FINAL FANTASY XI, all four expansions, and all add-ons.
