NPC Name: N/A
Monster Name: N/A
Steps:

1. Press Alt or Ctrl on the keyboard
2. Wait up to 2 seconds for macro menu to appear
3. Macro menu appears after a delay.

Additionally, if you press, for instance, Ctrl+1 and release it before the macro bar appears, the macro will fail to activate. If you hold down the Ctrl button at least, the macro will complete when the bar appears.

This behavior is greatly exaggerated in densely populated areas.
Additionally, Fraps indicates frame-rate never drops below ~30 fps (the cap for FFXI client on PC), even in the aforementioned densely populated areas (besieged for example). Please investigate this issue seriously. The word on the street is that it doesn't affect Console players. This is not a performance problem with my PC. Every PC player suffers from this problem. At some level, whether it's display or function.

Greetings again, Pentiki!
Thank you again for posting your concerns about the latency that you have experienced with your macro activation. I can see how frustrating it can be to constantly experience this latency. However, matters that involve latency are usually considered to be more of a technical issue, so we do highly recommend trying to troubleshoot this situation with the SQUARE ENIX Support Center, as mentioned in your previous thread. You may contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center at https://support.na.square-enix.com/c...php?id=20&la=1. Also, I see you have mentioned the use of Fraps, so I recommend avoiding the running of background programs on your computer while playing the game to see if it helps improve the situation. Thanks again for your participation!
