There's all kinds of dumb things that overwrite stronger effects. Ukko's Fury's slow > Hojo: Ni > Slow I, yet the order of potency is exactly the reverse. >_>
yeah or have a whm hit you with cure IV and the SS off solace make your magic barrier have no effect.
