Hello,

I'm currently well into the process of making Terpsichore and have recently been reading the blog of someone who already has it. They have confirmed that 'Augments "Steps II-IV' has no further bonus to finishing moves, you will always get 3.

They have done a lot of testing and they can't seem to find any bonus to these higher stages of step augments. I was really hoping you could confirm that these higher tiers are actually doing something.

Alexandrites are 12-14k a piece at the minute on my server and not to mention the grind of daily salvage/assault/nyzul/einherjar these weapons are incredibly time consuming to obtain, it would be nice to know the end product is actually worthwhile.

I'm not asking to know how the steps are augmented I appreciate the dev team may wish for the players to find this out but I just want to know it's actually doing something. Considering the first "Augments Steps" gave an extra finishing move the majority of the player base simply assumed the next stages would add more. As this is not the case it's a big grey area for us!

Really hope you can shed some light on this to ease the minds of the players dedicating so much time to it(and the ones who already have!)

As someone who is also working on it, I was similarly surprised to learn that "Augments Steps II~IV" doesn't actually do anything and would also like clarification. Thanks~!

Stupid question, but I assume you've ruled out that it makes the step debuffs themselves more powerful?

We're basing this on a JP blogger and google translation. As far as I can tell, she says that Box Step is still 5~13% defense reduction. So it doesn't appear to make the step debuffs more powerful.
