I was thinking about this the other day. Increasing the effectiveness of all enspells via a path specifically for RDM's.
Perhaps, trigger X Enspell x a set amount of times. This would be similar to the debuff types of trials.
Each stage could require. Both Enspell 1 and Enspell 2 amounts of trigger per element.
I choose daggers primarily since RDM have good skill in both swords and daggers, but RDM daggers have been under utilized so far in trials. Though, we are not listed under dagger trials, this could easily been worked out.

Chimeric Fleuret
(Sword) All Races
DMG: 51 Delay: 218
Accuracy +5 Sword enhancement spell damage +7
Latent effect: Double Attack +4% (while enspell is active)
Lv. 89 RDM
Trials for the sake of trials? : No thanks.

I know in your head you make sense, kristal but in reality your reasoning is quite flawed. Why do anything in FFXI when there are alternatives? I could drag out dat files are various gear that give BLM MAB and MACC, or INT and say..why have staves for them? Or bring out gear for Summoners that lowers pet costs and so forth... The point of trial is to strengthen weakness of certain areas in weapons and play styles.
Enspells from both tiers are "weak" are haven't been adequately addressed. Sure, there a piece of gear that could give a bonuses. But adding +7 and an additional gear haste isn't what I was going for.
As an aside maybe, separate elemental trialsmfor each Enspell more appropriate? After all summoner and blmmhave to focus on particular elements for each path?

Speaking of heads, what language are you using to write your posts? It looks like English, but I can make heads nor tails of what you are trying to convey.
Why is Chimeric Fleuret NOT what you are going for, when it seems to do exactly what you are going for?
Why do we need to haul around 6 more swords (after spending countless hours upgrading them through magian trials), only to end up with a weaker version of what we already have? A minor boost that already is given by current swords, rings and earrings, and could be expanded upon in future updates without resorting to *shudder* magian trials?
So no, I don't understand what you are going for. Perhaps if you would actually work out some details instead of this hazy fog of 'weak' maybes, it would make more sense.

Most magian trial weapons have a decent amount of damage on them, so maybe that's what he's going for. Though even at +3, sword trial weapons don't have much more of a DMG rating than that one. Other than that, I agree that it would be a little ridiculous to have to do a trial weapon for each element. Also, it would end up having to split across two weapons, as PLD and DRK get Enlight/Endark respectively, and it wouldn't be fair just to boost RDM's enspells.

+7 seems kinda.. Meh... I was going for double digit extra. And I want a dagger to go "old school".
