While EXPing in ToAU was the craze, Signet and eventual Sigil having defensive bonuses on mobs Even Match and lower seemed like a reasonable trade-off for spreading people out a little. However, now that Abyssea has come and gone with FoV/GoV on the side, the advantage of a latent EXP boost with a selectable bonus buff isn't much of an incentive anymore. From the Trial perspective, ToAU houses some unique mobs either not found in Abyssea or are the only alternative source. This means fighting them can be more tedious even though they're often a good number of levels our junior now.

That said, I'd like to see Sanction given an additional buff to go alongside the others, and that would be the mentioned defensive benefits on EMs and lower. If we're feeling ambitious, SE could tweak Sanction to work like Sigil and let us select all buffs for the appropriate IS cost, but that's not as important. Either way, it'd help open these zones up as alternatives for skilling up or working on trials.

I approve of any and all things that could potentially make Magian Trials the slightest bit less tedious.

Sanction also sucks for resting your HP back to full... XD

Totally agreed. If they would give Sanction some sort of survival buff, it would definitely make the ToAU areas more appealing to a player. Especially to a BLU. My WHM friend and I have noticed that I take a LOT more damage on a DC mob in ToAU areas as apposed to anywhere else, making hunting BLU spells much more stressful.
