I was wondering if possible if SE can one day in the near future give us our very own portable item to carry around with us to call forth our mog from our mog house to allow us to change jobs, grab some gear, etc. anywhere in Vana'Diel? I'm not sure if this would be too gamebreaking to be able to change jobs no matter where you are, but the mogs can act like the nomad mogs so that you still need to be in the mog house to input merits and what not. The item can be something like the magian trial log too which can only be called forth if there's no other NPC-type item called out.

This addition would definitely make it easier for people in Abyssea to remain in Abyssea with capped lights as well to change to different jobs without leaving all their capped lights behind, but the only issue now would be to somehow fix it so that people can spend their merits too while in Abyssea.

It would be really cool to be able to change jobs out in the field and have access to any gear in your mog house. I'm sure there would be repercussions from doing this, but it would be very helpful.

Extremely game breaking, terrible idea.

I like this idea. o.o It would save time, instead of having your party wait and wait on you to change jobs and hunt down equipment, ect. And plus, it would be convenient while you leveled. "OMG, I have an awesome piece of equipment, and I'm the appropriate level finally...getting it out right now." It would save how people are aggravated when they have that piece of equipment, but can't access it until they go to their Mog House.

I for one, would like to have this idea put into action.
Chronofantasy, nice idea. I love it.

Why is it game breaking? They could easily put limits on it that wouldn't create a game breaking mechanic.

1. An equipable item (probably 30+) that's from a quest you can only do if you have something like 5 or maybe 10 level 75+ jobs.

2. When you call your Moogle All you can access is Job Change, your Mog Safe, and Mog Locker. (Storage maybe, but in the game thoough not seen it's like your Furniture has storage space and there's where you store your items in Storage. Your moogle wouldn't bring all your Furniture :P)

3. Something like a 1/1 charge with 72 hour recharge.

4 Usable in most areas. No point being able to use it in cities since they have moogles. Probably not able to use in dungeons like Castle Zvahl, in Abyssea, or in the Past (Moogle too scared to enter Dungeons and unable to use Cavernous Maws.)

Well, there would really be no point in it much if you can't call the mog in Abyssea since that is the hot spots right now. I can see why some people may think it's a bad idea, especially during Abyssea exp partys if a person sneaks onto a lower lvl job to leech in the pty. This can be detected though by showing a person's mog appear when they call it so that way the pty leader can check on that person to make sure they're not changing to a lower lvl job.

I also forgot to mention that giving certain restrictions to call the mog can be implemented as well. Maybe 1/1 every 72 hours is a bit too long to recall your mog out if they do give us this. Perhaps once every hour to call out your mog sounds reasonable?

I know this may sound like a crazy/bad idea but it would be quite convenient and SE has been making this game more convenient lately for players. I'm sure it can be done and it's not as bad of a suggestion compared to other ones I've seen suggested.

On a side note: Has anyone else been getting those glitches once in a while when the mog from your MH shows up on your screen when you leave your MH? I see it quite often in Jeuno and my friends have seen it as well. Sometimes it will disappear soon after and there was a couple times I was able to click on it and open up the same menus that you get when you're in your MH.

Well, I really don't think they'll ever do it, but this is SE here, you know for them to do something like that there will be cons. Once an hour seems way too often, I couldn't see it being more often than 1 time per day, with 72 hour recharge sounding like something SE would do. Another con would be you'd have to leave abyssea to use it which means losing your lights/time above 120 which again sounds like something SE would do.

I don't think this is needed, and more over is something that could be exceedingly detrimental. Then again, the XP gain in Abyssea is exceedingly detrimental to job understanding in my opinion.

I think with the reduction in the recharge time on the Treat Staff II and other teleporting items, it is no longer an issue. The idea to remain in Abyssea while being able to change jobs has its own problems including the problem of trying to change to a low level job that shouldn't be in Abyssea. Of course, the primary thing is that you shouldn't be able to cap lights on a job you can easily cap lights on and then switch to another job for the benefits of the work.

I don't think I would be against an Abyssea Mog House zone that would reset lights and time extensions when entering, but even that seems unneeded.

People want to live in Abyssea and I am beginning to feel that the threatened "detrimental effects of prolonged exposure" need to be implemented to Abyssea to get people out of those areas and back into the rest of the world.
