Since Yesterday I can't loging to ffxi.

Even the navigation in these forum or any other SE related sites is very slow, when it usually is normal.
I can see there are more complains about it and in other forums (ffxiah, guildwork) I found more people complaining about the same issue. People from different ISP's and country so I think it's safe to assume it's not a problem caused by ISP's.

I got the exact same problem.
I try to log in, it says error POL-0011, then hit retry and it works for a second then I got the same error and retry again (repeating that until it launches FFXI).
Then, I get to the lobby server login, where I get an Error code: FFXI 3100.

It all started on september 06th 2011 for me.
It's pretty annoying! And I can't play at all. :)

I hope we'll get some kind of refund! Like a Sagasinger or something. :o

Yeah same problem here started last night finally got back on then it booted me and have not gotten back on yet... Also having a issue just logging into Account Management.. dropped IP to refresh and still no go

I'm also on cable (Videotron) using Windows 7. I tried on 2 different computer, same problem. :(

In before SE tells you to check that your router isn't blocking outgoing connections :>

So it is an SE Issue, but it seems to affect only some ISP, after 1 day trying to connect every 10 min w/o success i connected my PC to my Iphone Shared 3Gconnection and now i can log-in. So at lest there's a solution for some of us until they fix it ^^

BTW my home connection is videotron, many ppl seems to have issue with them.

My Iphone is with Rogers and i've been in game for a good while w/o issue so far

After so many people complaining about this still no 1 word from SE.

Nice way to treat your customers!
A simple "we are looking into it and will fix it as soon as possible" would be enough (for me anyways).
Being as it is I don't think SE is even doing anything to fix this...

Shame I enjoy FFXI so much because the customer support is really not that good.

Was having the same trouble until I get tired and reset router/modem. For now on, I'm having the message when i hit PLAY on FFXI menu: «You have no Content ID for FINAL FANTASY XI. Please obtain a new Content ID or reactivate a cancelled one in order to play the game and/or to use the PlayOnline services.». I made a new post about that problem. In my opinion, it must be a trouble with the new payment thing, as my friend who made the transfert can`t play anymore and my friend who didn`t still enjoying the game. It`s just my two cents.

Have you moved your account to a SE account? The stuff they were talking about recently, not the linking that was done a long time ago.

Well, go to the square enix account management then and see if your characters are active there or not.
