View Full Version : Manafont adjustment idea
Would like to see something added to manafont like maybe increased magic attack while in effect or magic accuracy. My friend was trying out scholar and black mage in the test server and was telling me that scholar was doing comparable damage and sometimes more because of their abilities. If not manafont, then maybe a new ability where we can increase our damage temporarily.

^this while manafont is nice for when I run outta mp with no quick option to restore, maybe something to give it more of a panic button effect. like maybe faster casting or a damage update, or maybe just making it so you don't get resisted.

I don't know, BLMS biggest issue is the cost of some spells, (obviously) the fact that manafont not only makes every spell cost 0 but even elimiates spell intterupting makes it do it's job well. i can't say i have any complaints for it.

I like manafont as is, but I certainly wouldn't complain if they added magic attack bonuses to it or something lol

Didn't they already say they were adding a JA that increases DMG for the next spell.

They said they are looking into the idea... not that they were 100% going to do it.

Fair enough.
I thought they said they were gonna add an ability to make the next spell cost no mp. I rather have an ability that increases MAB for the next spell. But not complaining because a no mp cost ability is kinda nice.

Manawell is the spell that will make next spell cost 0..but seriously, it isn't like BLM has problems doing damage, if ANYTHING be added to manafont i would want it to be - enimity (for outside use) or - damage taken similar to manawall BLMs have the defense of a wet peice of paper, you can never have to much -PDT

I see 400MP cost and ~20 second casting time.
Just 'cause SE are crazy like that.
